Our dinner was just ok, nothing really blew me away. We shared a beet salad and had the flank steak. Service is typical if you know what I mean. I think this place has great potential but the kitchen and front of house are not in sync. Three strong servers could run the show here but there are a lot of people working but who’s doing what is a mystery? So many great options in San Jose. This place needs a service revamp. I hate to give a bad review but I count on Unilocal when I travel and that’s why Unilocal is so awesome.

Once sited they told us that half of the menu wasn’t available because they didn’t have ingredients. We figured out two appetizers and two entrees among the few available options. After almost 1 hour and a half to receive the first tree dishes the waiter came and asked if we wanted any desert. We explained him that we were still missing 1 entrees he said that they couldn’t make it cos they didn’t have the ingredients(and he just discovered that??). I explain the problem to the manager he barely said sorry and disappeared… Food was nothing special(too salty and scraped up) and we paid a lot for just tree dishes. Service was obviously terrible and so slow. It took two hours to get the two appetizers and 1 entre. Dont waste your money. All other restaurants in the area are better.

I can’t rate this place at all, even with a star. Worst service/quality ever! The menu doesn’t reflect the real availability and the staff is not qualified or skilled. We waited ages to get three out of four dishes(after we have basically been forced to get what was left in the kitchen) and no one bothered to make up for it or offer us an alternative. Moreover, food was completely scraped up, salty, and poorly cooked. The owner left us without explanations or apologies…

…we were there last night… this place is highly recommended… manager, Alan and chefs and staff could not be nicer and there suggestions were spot on… everything was great… must give 5* to the risotto… will be back shortly

Great restaurant in San Jose. Beautiful ambiance — very well decorated space. Covered courtyard outside the open kitchen. Food as great and great prices. The octopus appetizer was enough for an entire dinner. The paella, cornish hen, short ribs entrees were all fabulous. We were treated with a delicious and generous Amuse Bouche of the creamy avacodo soup. Food was as good as any restaurant I’ve tried in cabo and will definitely return! The do take credit card now but tip in cash. And the waitstaff was very friendly and welcoming to our table of 6 adults and over tired toddler.

Great meal! Waitstaff was super friendly. Chef Rodolfo came out and explained the specials(beef cheeks were delish, a little fatty though, but not having had them before maybe that’s how they are supposed to be?) The catch of the day was amazing. Quite and interesting selection of items on the menu… Good selection of cocktails and Martinis too. Great courtyard for outdoor dining and ambience. Reservations available online or via phone. Unfortunately they only take cash. So we got into a bit of a panic when our ATM card didn’t work across the street. The waiter even offered to drive us to another ATM and the owner apologized for not taking credit cards. After using wifi to call our bank, everything was straightened out and we had an extra round of cash drinks!
