Great lunch… And nice to find a place where you finish eating and feel good. For a starter, the green juice was amazing — some of the best that I’ve ever tasted. The beef dish was outstanding — great flavor. The nacho looking dish had was good — especially topped with chicken — but it’s essentially a big plate of nachos and that gets old quickly. I’d prob avoid this one next time. With the terrific patio, healthy eats, and decent service this place is a winner.

We only ate here once but we will go agin when we go back to Cabo. Great breakfast — very creative and very fresh. The courtyard is charming with the canopy of avocado trees. When we were there, there were many locals which is also a great sign. If you are looking for a lunch/brunch cute café with great food — this is a great choice.

Didn’t expect the fab level of food for the price. The chile arbol was amazing. The shrimp dish with sweet potato purée is well prepared and priced so well! We are giving back.

— The Skinny: Food Quality: 4 Stars — Fresh, organic, original food in San José Del Cabo! Tried the following with my wife on 3 different occasions: Lunch — «Danzante» Sandwich — Good. «La Playita» Salad — Really good & fresh. My wife LOVES it(orders often) Pricing: 5 Stars — Around the same price as Chipotle or Panera bread BUT better prices! Service: 4 Stars — Nice, friendly, & attentive. Daniel was our server 5+ times & he’s good! Everyone we spoke to speaks English as well. Atmosphere: 5 Stars — Really neat place! Had an eclectic mix of industrial, farm, and Mexican décor. Not touristy at all. Comfort: 4 Stars — Plenty of seating inside & out. All wooden chairs, none padded. Tables can be joined easily. Location: 5 Stars A block from the plaza and steps from Hotel Colli. It is on a 1 way street with limited parking so walking would be best. There is small(dirt) parking lot that will give you 1 Free Hr with Validation. Located SE(facing the entrance). — The Fat: My wife Francis and I were out here Travel Blogging for weeks for AllaboutbajaDOTcom So we tried pretty much every restaurant in San Jose Del Cabo. This place is unique and has good food, service, and prcing. The interior & exterior seating can accommodate two different moods(inside/intimate, outside/open). We really enjoyed the menu as its contains healthy options with a Mexican touch. Everything is organic and they bake their own bread. The owner Francisco is nice and friendly. I reccomend you visit this restaurant!

Stopped in for lunch after lounging on the beach all day. Service & Food excellent. My wife had a turkey sandwich /I had the Pork Shoulder sandwich. All very good quality, fresh baked bread in house, priced well. If I am in San Jose again, I would not hesitate to come back to this café.

Tucked away in a shady courtyard, Lolita is removed the bustle of Cabo’s streets, along with its tourist traps. The food is good enough that Lolita could survive in San Francisco’s gourmet food scene, and at a fraction of the price. The pulled pork tacos are delicious, and their not-too-sweet drinks help beat the desert heat. Definitely get the fresh guacamole. Must try!

Just had a lovely breakfast here. The staff were all great. The food was delicious! I had baked eggs that had a creamy cheese sauce in them and sautéed spinach and bacon. Try the green juice if you had too many margaritas the night before!

Love this place. Wholesome food, subtle Mexican twist but not over done. Not tourist — basic décor which only adds to its charm. Had Oatmeal with almond milk, fruit and nuts.(Medano). Wonderful. Also the Eggs with spinach, cream and bacon.(Palmilla). Spectacular. Finally, the coffee(espresso and regular) and juices were fresh and chilled. This is a must visit in San Jose del Cabo.

What a hidden gem! This place is so nice and relaxing to have a good cup of coffee and to top it off the food was amazing. Got a chocolate foam coffee(Lolita) and it was just perfect mix, both hot and blended. The breakfast selection looked great, and the palmilla was the winner for me. It also came with a house sauce(non-spicy) which complemented the dish. The only shame is that I didn’t come across the place before my last day here in San Jose. Look forward to coming back thanks to this place.

Really quaint restaurant in the heart of San Jose del cabo. The coffee bar was reminiscent of the hipster coffee shops in Houston. Food was delicious. We ordered a conchita which came out warm and soft. My brother ordered a chorizo, egg, avocado with mole. It was delicious! The iced chai horchata was 5⁄5. the mocha was average and a bit overpriced in my opinion. Expect to pay what you would pay in the states, and they take credit card!

As I sit beneath the beautiful avocado trees, I enjoy the sensation of a full belly from a satisfying lunch. This descriptive passage is going to tell a tail, a tail of delicious bread stuffed with alright pork and beans. The sandwich did not blow me off my feet though it was filling. My favorite thing about this place was the tunes. It was nice to take a load off with a small splash of classic rock. If you are missing good ol American jams, hit this place up. The jams surpassed the menu but I would recommend it to the hungry traveler with a rambling soul.

Unreal breakfast and not the blown out tourist vibe you would expect from a restaurant so close to the corridor. Delicious menu with organic ingredients. Outdoor dining in a quiet courtyard. Highly suggest the Green Juice and the Las Animas! So good we also came back for lunch and got the fish sandwich. Unreal. Seriously exploded my mind. Get it with the wheat hoagie!

I’d read that this was a good place for cheap breakfast, but we got there for lunchtime. Soup and sandwiches on the menu. I had some tea and noticed teapot décor. We sat on the shady patio. We got to meet abuelita who makes the delicious bread and delicious sandwiches. A good last meal in San Jose del Cabo.

I found Lolita Café on another travel review site, I was surprised this awesome place hadn’t showed up here on Unilocal. Lolita Café is unassuming in the middle of a block not far off the city square of San Jose del Cabo; look for an A board sign on the south side of the street. I was greeted promptly and chose to seat myself in the shady courtyard in back. The first thing that struck me was the cool music, eclectic and definitely a mood setter. There were people seated inside and one party of three seated outside in the courtyard. I was presented with a long and thin menu with a nice selection of breakfast foods. Lots of sandwiches and burritos, I choose a fruit plate with yogurt and granola and a half order of french toast. I ordered a cup of coffee, it came quickly in a cool tin cup with an accompanying little cup of cream. It was a strong cup of coffee which I appreciated, it’d been days since I’d had real coffee. The fruit plate was beautifully presented with very thin slices of 5 different fruits, sprinkled granola and a drizzle of honey. All the fruits were nicely ripe and tasty, The granola included dried cranberries and was very crunchy. The yogurt was plain, a nice match for the granola. I’d read the french toast was very good, so I choose a half order but went without the whipped cream and fruit topping(it always seems too much to me). The french toast was perfect, nicely egg-infused bread perfectly cooked with just a light sprinkle of powdered sugar. I loved the feel of this place, the funky music, the retro tray the waitress used to bring my coffee, the tin cups used to serve coffee. The cool white porcelain tin pans and dishes on the wall. A large family of over 10 arrived just as I left, as did some well-dressed young ladies; I am glad to see Lolita’s appeals to many types of people. I enjoyed the food and menu selection and can see why others do, too.
