Do you want to eat a soft steamed bun with some crispy chicken inside ?
Yes? Great, head to Achos. A caravan made into a food truck where you can find simple and delicious steamed buns (Taiwanese style) stuffed full of pork or chicken, finely sliced cabbage and Mayo or teriyaki sauce .
I found these guys at the Otahuhu Food Festival, I made a beeline to them as they were the only ones without a queue ! I couldn’t believe that, who doesn’t want a yummy bun like this ?

Coming to a food truck venue near you, Acho’s is a mobile restaurant that serves Japanese versions of New York Taiwanese style pork buns. Recently surrounded by a long and salivating queue at Auckland’s Street Eats festival, they offered a limited but yummy selection of pork belly buns, pulled pork buns, chicken Katsu buns and chicken skewers. The Japanese variation makes them a little less spicy on the palate than their most immediate competition Judge Bao. Some may find this preferable, others may not. I chose to try one and so should you!
