Best cheese rolls and excellent coffee. I really like this place. If you are in area stop by for a snack. Very fresh and good food.

I used to work at a different café down the road, but when Bean Brown opened I became good friends with the guy who first opened this café. I ended up coming here for my post work coffee, as their range of beans was a lot more inviting and the conversation was always interesting.
They sell nice cabinet food, with an ever increasing range of savory and sweet pieces, all of which are home baked which is an added bonus — and they are nice and cheap. If you work in the area, make Bean Brown your local, and if you are passing through, why not drop in for a coffee.

Yes! Bean Brown is a great name. Probably the best café name in Auckland. «Bean Brown». It cheers me up just to say it. If I owned a café, it’d be really really similar to this joint. I am also really into their kind of throw back, 1960’s sign. Seriously cute.
It’s run by an adorable, middle-​aged Asian couple. I am all in on adorable, Middle-​Aged Asian couples.
Last time I went to this place I ate a little muffin thing that was very yummy. I also got a hot chocolate which was extremely delicious and hot and chocolatey.

This little gem is worth a pop in. This café offers original coffees from all around the world and lovely cabinet foods and menu items to match. It is only open for breakfast, brunch and lunch so don’t come late. And while it looks a little dire from the outside, inside is a neat space fit for relaxation and comfort. Im a sucker for bar benches by windows so that you can people watch while you munch away — luckily this café has it. Although it is nice I would consider it as more of a stop in coffee break type of place rather than a lunch date place.
