There is very limited Japanese restaurant around viaduct, hence this place is so popular every lunch time, you will have to queue if arrived after 12… they offer sushi and hot meal such as dons and udon, price for half portion(which I consider is light lunch) for around $ 7 to $ 9 and full size from $ 11 to $ 13. I had the traditional teriyaki chicken don which taste good!

Perfect place for a quick and inexpensive lunch in the Viaduct. I tried their teriyaki chicken don and teriyaki tofu don and both were delicious. A Japanese friend of mine took me to this place so I assume it is authentic, she actually converses in Japanese with the staff, who is very friendly. There is also complimentary water and green tea, which is always a bonus!

This is my absolute FAVOURITE place to go for a work lunch. And many others think the same! When you arrive at Bien around 12 there are always lines out the door and for good reason. Their sushi(while slightly expensive at around $ 1.30-$ 2.20 per piece) is extremely yummy and there is a good variety. But what I really go there for is the Miso Katsu Don(chicken) #13. YUM. It is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced at $ 8 for the half size and $ 12 for the full size. The miso sauce has just the right quantities of salty and sweet for it to be truly delicious and I love the shredded cabbage and carrot salad on the side. If you’re looking for a quiet place to have a lunch meeting, this isn’t the place to go because it is consistently packed. But for grabbing a tasty lunch to takeaway and eat somewhere on the Viaduct, it’s ideal.
