Tl;dr: if you’re a vegetarian and enjoy flavoursome food, this place isn’t for you. They have a lot of options for vegetarian meals and so I was excited to try their food. I got the vegetarian noodle clay hotpot. What I got tasted like 2 minute noodles and I paid 16 bucks for this dish. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because my friend who got a chicken dish liked her food. Also the staff have no idea about vegetarian food. I asked for recommendations and got very generic answers. More proof of their ignorance to vegetarian food.

This really is a hidden gem. Situated a couple of blocks past the«China Town» end of Dominion Road and on a corner in a really unassuming building Cinta often looks closed. I’ve been here a couple of times and loved the food. The menu is huge — massive wine list but also BYO. The staff are so friendly and dressed in traditional clothing which is really nice. We ordered the Butter Prawns with garlic and every time they are huge and cooked to perfection — slightly crispy and so juicy! We also had the boxing chicken — little chicken drumsticks that come with their legs wrapped in tin foil. The Chicken satay skewers were small but so tasty, as were the spring rolls. The Cinta Creamy Chicken curry is not very spicy but really tasty. The beef rendang so so fragrant and the crispy chicken came out whole, big and really crispy with a lemon sauce that was only a little sweet. The french beans and braised eggplant are outstanding. Love the food, love the service, pricing is reasonable. Don’t let the exterior put you off!
