My experiences with pizza delivery have been less than spectacular lately, but i was pleasantly surprised with this service.
It was 12am and there was little to nothing open in Glen Innes offering delivery; I was relieved to see that dominos was open until 1am on a Saturday! I gave it a go and ordered online and the food was at my door within 20 minutes. I even got to track the delivers’ every movement with the borderline creepy GPS feature on the website.
The pizza was what you would expect from a fast food delivery service, nothing too fancy but good enough for a satisfying meal. I was impressed by the range of sides and deserts dominos offered so I ordered quite a substantial amount. Nothing disappointed; The doughnuts were warm and moist and the salted caramel mouse was legitimate salted caramel mouse which was nice.
So it was overall quite a surprising experience considering the usual standards for cheap pizza delivery in NZ.

Dominos is Dominos — you know what its going to smell like and look like and taste like before you have even ordered. However I have to say in all the years my family has been ordering from Dominos Glen Innes, they have never once mucked up our order or left us waiting for our pizza longer than expected. I mean, sometimes I guess they could cut it a bit better, also I’m pretty sure the pizzas have gotten a bit smaller from the size they used to be, but other than that I have always been satisfied with my service at Domino’s Glen Innes. They know what to do and they have no trouble in doing it; I wish I could say the same about some of the other fast food takeaway chains in the same area.

So I’m grabbing some pizzas for a film shoot and these guys are close by. I rock on up to the counter and tell them I want 8 pizzas and explain what I want to get. The guy serving me was so flipping good at his job — told me the latest deals, how I could make it cheaper, how long it would take, etc. I was so impressed, and if that wasn’t awesome, they took under 15 minutes to churn out 8 perfectly made pizzas. These guys are on fire!
Basically, if you’re looking for an efficient dominos with great customer service, here’s the place!
