Good local library. Although I’m sure I got chicken pox last year from a kid here, can’t really pin it on him though . Good selection of DVDs $ 2.10 for 7 days, cheaper than your local rental store ! Friendly staff willing to help you order that book or find it . Watch out for 3pm though when hoards of kids from the intermediate descend on this place like a fat kid on a smartie !

Right in the heart of Pukekohe you’re find this place. It hosts the local library, Arts Cente and Café. I dont visit here as often as I should. Enjoyed wandering round looking at the locally created art. So many books and DVDs need reading and viewing. I need a coffee now …

This place sits right in the middle of the township. Although primarily an arts centre, this place also boasts Pukekohe’s only library, despite being average of size, but just the right size for a small town like Puke. The library is always quiet, and has a bunch of tables available making it an ideal place to study. They have a good selection of books for their size. The arts centre is pretty cool, too. They have different exhibitions which change monthly or every few weeks. They showcase local arts, and they also host celebrations for cultural events, like Diwali. They have a café on site also, and some conference rooms upstairs that you can hire out.
