Golden Steamboat

I went this place sometime ago. We were only group with non-​Chinese ethnicity and the waitress served other Chinese groups first and we were kinda ignored. At one stage, they ran out of cutlery too. It took ages to get the food and they forgot some orders as well. Hope they are improved by now and I would like to visit again sometime because the food was great!

Can highly recommend this restaurant. Would say it is one of the better Chinese restaurants have been to in Auckland (and that’s quite a few.) .We have tried quite a few of their dishes over time and none have disappointed. Here you can have hotpot, coldpot, just dishes or BBQ. You choose. The kiwifruit juice is delicious. You have to try if you ever go. Staff are quick to serve and very friendly, cheerful and you will often see the owner running around helping. Which is always a good thing to see .And the place itself is really clean. They have a system where if you register and dine there enough and accumulate $ 500 of spending you will then receive 5% off the next times you return. Can barely fault the restaurant which is why I gave it a 5. Enough said. Try it yourself if passing and you won’t regret it.
