Wong’s Kitchen

This is yet again another not so flash, not so badly priced, gives pretty good service and best of all the food is delicious kind of place! It is kinda stuck away on the edge of an industrial area of Auckland’s north shore and if you aren’t familiar with the area may be a little hard to find at first. Every time we come is busy, even on Monday night’s which tells you a lot about a place, yes? Amongst all the dishes have tasted in the time we have been a recent one has stood out as the best and most delicious we have had. It is the fish cooked in soy sauce, tofu and fried corncake (贴饼子炖鱼). Outstanding and worth getting the odd little fish bone stuck annoyingly between the teeth. Can highly recommend to others who are after good simple chinese cuisine. At a not too bad price as well.
