Not bad for airport food! Came here during a layover in Auckland and my husband and I shared the pork ramen. It was tasty and the noodles were nicely al dente. One soup was good enough for two of us to share and provided a nice warm filling meal to get us through our next flight. Price is a bit steep, but what do you expect from airport food.

This is a great place to eat when waiting for a flight at th Auckland Domestic Restaurant. The produce they have there always looks so fresh and yummy. Pretty ideal, except for the price. But I guess in the world of airport prices it’s not too bad. Thye have beautiful sashimi which is delicious. As well as the usual sushi rolls. But if you’re after something a bit more substantial they have loads of don buris which is just your meat of choice on rice. They always go down a treat for hungry travellers. Especially when your other option is the not so desireable, Maccas. They also have a range of side dishes which would be great if you’re just after a bit of a snack to fill in some time. I’d recommend the edamame beans. They’re nice and salty so would keep your stomach nice and calm for those rocky flights.
