This is our regular and I would highly recommend it. Probably some of the best butter chicken in Auckland, none of the highly-​sugared mall type curries here, just delicious and authentic food at decent prices. A full-​sized curry will always leave me with some left over.

Himalaya Indian does some good good curries. The meat that they put into their dishes is of such great quality and always big chunky pieces. I especially love the lamb curries that they have, with large slices of juicy lamb… mmmm, I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. The sauces too are really thick and delicious, they obviously know what they are doing here. The lady who works at the counter is a friendly and cheerful person, not to mention a bit of a looker; bit of a bonus there. The portions that they give you are pretty decent, but I’m thinking that it’s a little on the expensive side for one dish at this place. I guess these days you must pay extra though for good service, good food and hot staff.
