I’m a Khana regular and I consider myself really lucky for living so close to it. All the guys working there are very friendly and always in a good mood. The food is delicious, the korma and malai kofta are my favorites. The portions are quite large and I normally end up eating curry for breakfast. They always have deals going on during the week, make sure you ask them what they are to get a good deal.

Wonderful! Delicious, delicate flavours in the curries and a passionate chef to go along with it! We had lamb vindaloo, saag paneer and butter chicken. All three were so yummy. Just great flavours in saucy harmony. The chef even makes his own yoghurt(culture included) for the mango lassi, I think that’s fantastic. No wonder that have just had a booming review on the concrete jungle website. A MUST eat if you’re in the mood for a tasty Indian meal.

Got the butter chicken. Quite tomato-y, and even though a bit too sweet it was still quite nice.

Khana is the nearest Indian takeaway to where I live, and I have to say I’m pretty glad for it. Although they don’t compete with some of the 10 dollar main specials that some of the other local Indian restaurants in the area offer during weekdays, their standard meal price is pretty inexpensive, so you could nab a vege curry for 13 or one with meat for 15. Whats also nice about this place is their clear ethical stance that they have, as they use environmentally sustainable packaging and cleaning products where they can and each year they support a local community organisation or event. Whenever I have been, service has always been pretty efficient and the curry is ready when they say it will be — however if its not, its generally not a long wait and there are a variety of magazines provided to take a look at whilst waiting.
