Invito is a perfect location for a drink after work, during thr afternoon, well anytime. During the summer I enjoyed the sun at invito as I sipped on Iscaac’s cider and gossiped with good friends. It was amazing because nobody judged you for drinking in thr afternoon, they were all drinking as well. The best part is the location, in Chancery Square away from the busy streets on Auckland. I have only been to Invito for drinks but I will be sampling the lunch and dinner menu soon.

Nice location, I love going for lunch in Chancery, if you are in semi sophisticated environment it is somehow acceptable to drink alcohol in the middle of the day. Deciding to sample some of Invito’s very good selection of French and Italian wine disguises your shameful daytime drinking habit into something very sociably acceptable. Their pasta dishes are very forgettable, plain and unoriginal, but their pizza is delicious. If you can get a seat outside on a sunny day, nice glass of red wine and super tasty pizza, Auckland begins to look like not such a bad place.

We came here on a Saturday afternoon for a drink and some nibbles. It’s a great place to chill and enjoy the sun. We ordered drinks and a platter to share. On it was antipasto stuff like olives, cold meats, cheeses and it was all really scrummy. We then got the calamari and it wasn’t the best I’ve had but still went down a treat. The restaurant has loads of outdoor seating in the Chancery Lane complex so it’s good on a summer’s day. The fact that it’s near so many other restaurants meant the atmosphere was really buzzing with lots of people laughing, chatting and music playing. This was a perfect way to spend an afternoon and I’m looking forward to going back there for dinner.
