It is difficult to find a reliably decent roast in Auckland but Mac Roast partially satisfies this personal prerequisite of mine.
I usually order the Roast Beef roll, which is available in a combo with drink and potatoes also. It is well-​peppered, which I enjoy and there is plenty of gravy and horseradish — which I has grown on me.
Another favourite is the Roast Pork meal, with the small size meal usually adequate and medium if I’m really hungry. The large size tends to be for more than person. The Pork comes with a delicious side of crackling, which is ideal to eat in the car on the way home.
As far as food options go down at the Quay St complex, and aside from traditional fast food options, Mac Roast has to be up there as one of the best.
