McDonalds Greenlane

McDonalds have a standard, but Greenland has great service, is very clean, and great stop in the morning for Breakfast and Coffee. Parking is plentiful.

What can I say… Maccas is Maccas eh. Family outing with Nana and son was okay, I probably would’ve given them 4 stars if they didn’t say they’d run out of the extra Big Mac sauce. Disappointing, because that stuff is pretty damn good on a Quarter Pounder. So no extra Q P with my B M combo that day. Other than that, the 2 random kids that decided to infiltrate our personal space by dancing all over the show was mildiy amusing in an annoying sense, but hey, school holidays. My boy was happy in the playground so I can’t be too harsh.

McDonalds is reliably uniform right?
What I mean (by that) is that the fries, Big Mac, Chicken nuggets, hash brown, bacon and egg mcmuffin all look the same, everywhere you go?
I like that. Predictable but honest.
Greenlane McDonalds have a play land, café, good seating, party rooms and clean amenities-​yah!
Happy meals are a big hit with the children with (new) weekly plastic toys that entertain for 11 minutes:) that usually ties in with the lasted new release at the cinema i. e smurfs?
I remember smurfs from the 80’s!
They do burgers, vegetarian option, weight watchers option, children’s meals, combo’s, soft cones, shakes, coffee. most things!
I particularly like this McDonalds Greenlane because they are efficient and friendly! Also opposite Countdown, and close to the 24hr DIY car wash.

This may be a pretty high rating for MacDonalds. But when you put in perspective. MacDonald’s in New Zealand are already so much more enjoyable than those in the United States.
Greenlane Maccas is actually one of the better ones too. It’s the corporate office where supposedly where manager training and what not goes on so they have a high standard here. The interior’s actually really nice for a Fastfood place and its kept pretty clean, compared to the other fastfood places that are around.
I haven’t had food from McDonalds in almost a year, but McCafe here is pretty acceptable, especially late afternoon when most cafes start to close up. Coffee here is better than you’d think!
I did have one slightly bad experience where I waited 20 minutes for my hot chocolate from McCafe because the person who took my order under takeaway but the other staff working weren’t informed that it was supposed to be a «have here». I had go back to the front to ask for it and they made one for my straight away.
