well. the food is so-​so not too bad i ordered a vegetarian dry noodles, and there were no vegetabled in it just fake meat and some shredded carrot? ugh well hell i had clearly mentioned that i would like some vegetables in it too please, it didnt taste bad at all though, Not a bad alternative if you have nowhere to go for lunch.

Had lunch here with a friend while I was back in Auckland over the summer. Although I noticed they have the usual café items like pies, sandwiches, eggs & bacon etc on the menu, it wasn’t why we were there.
We were there for the authentic Taiwanese dishes they have on their menu! Like the beef noodle soup and the egg pancakes! I had both… although I didn’t really need both, I managed to finish it all as it was totally delish!
The café itself is pretty sparse. nothing overly fancy, just a large room with tables & chairs. The prices seem pretty standard. Can’t comment on any of the café items, but don’t be afraid to try something off their Asian menu.
We did have to wait a while for our food and there were a few tables which weren’t cleared in any hurry but other than that, nothing to complain about.

Supporting this place because it is Taiwanese owned — but the selection is small and have no characters. It is ok if you are in a hurry because parking is available, though there isn’t a lot. Fair. Not awesome.

I think this place must have changed owners since the last time I was here because I noticed their menu had changed. They offered usual classics like bacon and eggs but they also had an asian style menu that seemed very popular amongst their many asian customers. This place is only a short walk from my house so I often come here when I am craving a coffee. It’s not my favourite place to come it’s just convenient. Their coffee is a little weak and very milky but if you like it that way then it would be perfect. Lovely service here really friendly and polite which I always appreciate. It’s a large café with plenty of indoor seating as well as some outdoors. There was one thing about this café that annoyed me when I went in the other day, they cabinet was so covered in condensation that you couldn’t see any of their food inside it. It may have been a fault that they needed to fix but it was quite a pain and I didn’t purchase any food as a result.
