Was the best cheap quick and delicious lunch in the area. Was… Unfortunately their lease has expired and they seem to have decided not to renew. If anybody knows what the owner’s plans are now I’d love to know.

I have been visit here since 10 years ago. They do serve very good quality HK style BBQ duck, pork, chicken. Unfortunately there quality goes down in these years, but still one of the choice in city. BBQ duck and Chicken marinated by soy are the best pick in the restaurant. Very Juicy and tender. But the roasted pork is the way to dry, you may have hardtime when u try the crispy skin. So sad that they will no longer running the business after 30÷5÷15. Miss ya!

This is one of the better cheap chinese restaurants in town and one of my favourites for a filling, tasty, authentic and cheap lunch or dinner. The service is standard for a cheap chinese — they bring you tea and come and see you once to take your order. Nothing more, nothing less. But you don’t come here for exceptional service. The food portions are huge and incredibly tasty. I love spicy food so my favourites are Kung Po chicken with rice and Szechuan Pork with rice. There is a huge 3 – 4 pages of rice and noodle dishes, as well as specialty chinese BBQ dishes.

I had the seafood stir rice, and it absolutely hit my spot! Ingredients were not bad, and it just like some«street restaurants大排档» in canton. The best thing is they r really close to me. I think it will be my first choice when I can’t decide where to eat.

Here has some of the best bbq pork, Bok Choy and rice I have had. The restaurant is of simple décor, nothing flash, but clean, good service and there is not much wait for your food. It is usually always pretty busy when we go but still have never had trouble getting a table. And one of the best things of all… it is cheap.

One of my main Hk BBq eatery. Get free soup when you eat in. The duck, roast pork are stand out. Tried a few stir fry dishes, they are average. Takes way longer than the BBq food. Service could be better. I do like the self serving tray for all your sauces.

With all the pomp and circumstance of a laundromat, the No. 1 Chines BBQ restaurant will serve you a barbecued dish of meat fit for a carnivorous Viking. A real no frills experience, the seats are cheap plastic, so is the table cloth, fluorescent lights and white wall paper — it is an ugly place, confusingly popular until you try the duck. As I was approaching the restaurant, I actually saw them carrying a whole pig in through the front door from a freezer truck parked outside. I immediately liked the idea of them doing their own butchery, especially when there are so many Asian restaurants who use processed meats. They have quite a comprehensive menu, 95 percent of it is completely worth ignoring, standard food at a sometimes questionable price($ 18 for a small plate of plain broccoli?). But their BBQ duck, pork, and chicken is phenomenal. It is also very quick and easy, they will sit you down, serve you a complementary bowl of soup, and before the soup even has time to cool, you will be staring at a glorious pile of duck, gleaming with marinade and fat, your diet be dammed, it is time to stuff your face.
