Someplace Else used to be a really popular venue — non-stop radio advertising («Tonight we’re going to someplace else» etc, ad nauseum) meant people knew about the place and tended to visit it regularly. In recent years the place has really cleared out and I haven’t seen it packed in a long time. I’ve been to a number of events in the conference rooms of The Langham hotel that have sometimes spilled out into the bar, but it’s generally a rarity. I assume this place is still afloat because it’s part of The Langham’s raft of generally pretty successful eating and drinking establishments.
