Food 3 star, environment 2 star(as very noisy) Heard was a very good Malaysia restaurant so went to try the other day, ordered the famous prawn and the other dish forgot. Found the prawn was quite dry for some reason is that because of the way they cooking? The prawn itself is quite fresh though. All I remembered was so noisy if u happened to sit next to the big group then it’s a disaster, u can’t hear each other! After that meal I’ve never ever thought of re-visiting. So I guess it’s a 3 star for me.

Come on, nobody could resist the Coco Netsum prawns and the fish noodle soup served with a nice cold Malaysian Teh Tarik? I have been there several times and is happy with the services in this restaurant. In a nut shell, good service, awesome food and I love it!

Absolutely love the food from here!!! On Great South Rd and Market Rd, near the Remuera train station. Busy intersection. Definitely worth the trip. The place– decent size restaurant. Has a few large round table and 2 and 4 people seats. Cleaner than other Malaysian restaurant in town. The food– you have to try nestum prawns. It’s fried with a coating of egg/oats. Tastes a little spicy, a little sweet, and crunchy. You can ask them to remove the shells if you have not mastered the art of eating prawns. The other favorites is the fish noodle soup. One of the best fish stock I’ve ever had. Has good chunks of fish meat in it. The thick vermicelli is very springy, taste really good. We also tried the honey pork shop. Highly recommend it. The service– friendly. Definitely a restaurant you have to try out. They have a few other locations also.

Friendly service, full of people , Roti was very oily, chicken satay was average, beef rendang was quite a large serving(you could probably share one between two !) and nice and tasty

Good food for a good price. The dishes were quite big and was family style but it was pretty yummy as well. The fish head noodles was really nice. A bit crowded and loud but still good
