Storm used to be a great clothing boutique, with some original cuts and quality fabrics, with an overall minimalistic, clean line. And all for a good price. I have a number of tops that cost me less than $ 100 and a number of dresses that cost me less than $ 150.
But that was back in the day. Like, pre-2008. I don’t know what has happened since then, but the same lovely, simple, quality style clothes are now almost double in price. I don’t think you could get a dress at Storm for less than $ 200 now, and that’s on the cheaper side.
Still a nice boutique, well laid out with colours grouped together, and on the cheaper side for Ponsonby Rd. Still I can’t justify such an increase in price point for the same brand within a five year period.
