twenty-seven names

I love twenty-​seven names! New Zealand designers and last time I checked NZ made (props!!).
Their fabrics are pretty (think polka dots, beautiful silks and fine knits) but their designs are effortless, practical (big tick in my book) and in many cases masculine. Lots of clean lines and simple oversized looks. The tailoring on their pants and jackets is stunning but I find their dresses best suit petite girls.
Fron Wellington, the Ponsonby Road store is their first in Auckland. It’s in prime position, just around the corner from Franklin, and what’s more the staff are freakin’ awesome. They always ask how your day is and are completely unpretentious. Such a treat!
ps. they also have the cutest patterned socks as well as gorgeous Repetto shoes!
