It was not my choice to come here, and wouldn’t otherwise but thought I would give an honest review about The Coffee Club inside St Luke’s mall. If going just for coffee or a drink, then sure, but I do not recommend eating here. Of the four meals we had there were two eggs benedicts and two steak sandwiches. All the eggs were severely undercooked and we asked them to be taken back. The eggs then arrived way over done, but we were too annoyed and hungry at this point to do anything about it. Both the steak sandwiches were below average, with very thin, over cooked, chewy steak, and the chips that came with were way over cooked. For $ 18 a piece it is a total rip off. On a positive note the staff were very polite and helpful.

I do like the Coffee Club and though I prefer eating in some of more indepedent places, if I am in a Westfield Mall I will generally go there. It does what it sets out to do — serves good quality food and drink and serves it consistently well. The Coffee is always of a high standard and their hazlenut lattes are lovely if you have a sweet tooth. The food is also very good — I got calamari the last time I went and it was melt in the mouth. If I am very hungry or hungover, I tend to go for their big breakfast which includes a steak and is surely aimed at men who like a good feed. I guess the only downside of Coffee Club is that’s a bit commercial and bland. If you can live with that and don’t mind sitting next to suburbanites, you will not be disappointed with the food and drink they serve here.
