Zest Cafe

I pretty much only started going here on the regular because the barista was this hot French dude who put hearts in my flat white foam, so I’m p sure he was into me. Then one day he wasn’t there any more and the owner told me he went to thailand to follow some other girl, so I was totes heartbroken because he was my secret boyfriend.
After that, even the cajun salmon orzo salad lost its appeal. Also my boss started going there, so I had to find somewhere else to slag off management at lunchtime.

Zest is one of those places that I feel would be so much cooler if it were somewhere else. I do really like it, but being situated in the middle of the city, it’s always jam-​packed with business people. I’m not a big fan of business people.
But apart from that, it’s really great. The place itself reflects the food — fresh, clean and simple.
They have really good salads, but I am a big fan of the chicken wrap. I always go in with the intention to try something new, but then I see it and I’m sold. The cabinet food all looks delicious, and do the descriptions on the menu board.
The big tables make it really good for big groups (of business people), but also if there just you and a friend, they’re big enough for you to perch on the end.
I’m not a big coffee drinker, but my friends have told me it’s really good. One of the best things is that they use free range eggs, seasonal organic produce, and they recycle.

This is where the suits hang out. All the time. Every time i’ve gone there the suits are sure to be there too. Its a very clean and chill place. The interiors are impressive, very modern design allowing for ample space and still a lot of seating choice. GReat for couples or groups as there are big tables too. With a great display cabinet selection and a menu to choose from they provide yumminess, and they make lovely coffee too. They proudly use free range, seasonal produce, and are proclaimed avid recyclers. Definitely a must visit if you are in town and after a clean and relaxing environment to chill out in or have a meeting in.
