The selection of food is generic Japanese, there is nothing special here. Prices are a bit steep with 5 deep fried prawns for $ 19

Very nice place to go for a lunch. They are also open in the evening from 5.30PM or so.
Food Original Japanese cuisine with a choice of sushi platters, udon and soba dishes, tempura and teriyaki. Sushi availlable à la carte. Variety of side dishes, including nattō! My unadon was truly excellent.
Drinks All the standard drinks, licensed, BYO.
Atmosphere Very nice and homey with simple and tasteful decoration.
Staff Very nice and helpful. Great source for ideas where to buy Japanese ingridients in Wellington.
Value for Money Truly Japanese dishes of excellent quality at moderate to not-​so-​moderate-​for-​a-​luch-​meal prices with lunch options varying from NZ$ 14 for vegetarian dishes to NZ$ 35 for generous platters with a couple of small side dishes. Everything on the card plus a couple of smaller sushi sets are available for take away.
