This café is always a treat. I’ve only gone for breakfast — multiple times — but have also bought their pies for take away lunch. The food and coffee are outstanding and the wait staff are always delightful. My personal favourite is the vegetarian breakfast — and I’m not a vegetarian. My wife loves their eggs benedict. It’s small and popular, so can be crowded.

This is a fantastic café. The staff are very friendly to everyone and certainly make you feel comfortable and special. The chef is outstanding. the scramble eggs are the best I have had at a restaurant. The local sausages are perfect and the poached eggs are spot on. The ginger gem cakes are wonderful… So light and tasty. I would highly recommend this café to everyone … You would not be disappointed with anything you choose!

Best café on the coast. Lots of yummy treats prepared onsite by Richard and Anita. Lovely young staff that have been well trained in customer service. They also have lots of gluten free options available, which is a must for any café today.

This tiny little gem snuck away near Manly on the Whangaparoa Peninsula is known as one of the best on the coast, so when I was out there with the little lady and her mum we had to try it out.
To say it’s tiny is an understatement, but don’t let that fool you, the food is all prepared on site fresh, and with beautiful local produce. Add in the fantastic coffee and it’s a winner! It may be a bit far out to make a specific trip for, but if you’re ever nearby, definitely stop in and give it a try, you won’t regret it!
