Really not good. My partner has quite bad food poisoning after having the prawn and chicken salad on the weekend. I will be letting the local food authority know about this. The service was okay, but the staff tend not to listen to what you actually ordered and on several occasions had forgotten what we had ordered. Coffee was pretty good but that was really the only upside.

Nice settings in front of the sea, and their coffees are pretty good and nicely roasted. Didnt try the cakes though.

Mozaik café in Orewa is part of the Moana Court complex in Orewa, just underneath The Deck Restaurant.
Part of a small local chain, they Ziyana Coffee, a brand I’d never heard of before trying it.
I have to say, it was a pretty tasty mocha, but that’s all I got to try as I had an interview to rush off to.
The location is great, though. Just across the road from access to Orewa Beach, it’s a great place to get a bite to eat and a good coffee before heading back out into the waves.
