Meh, I’ve experienced better(2 stars guidance) is exactly correct. To be fair, the place seems to have a lot of potential. It is within the park basically the outside patio of restaurant starting with a C near the InterContinental entrance to the park, that I cannot remember the name of and could not easily find on quick internet search, but no worries since it is not a place I would spend one’s hard earned money on. If you are a trust fund baby and nothing to do with your day, then this may be the place for you to put on your Versace’s on, go with a friend, pretend to be seen while watching quietly behind your glasses, and then go Interconti for another outrageously priced drink. So, to set the scene: black patio, black patio couches and chairs, some elevated bar like tables, some white pillows I think. Leaves around, and seems like the pillows and floors need some dusting for the last 20 years. Drink menu is pretty ridiculous, not just on the prices, for example 10.50 Euros for a Lillet Sprtizer, but for actually a drink that is Rose wine with ice cubes«Mon Cheri»(ice in Champagne is called«Piscine», yours for only 12.50). «). Also, arrived for the Electro Swing party with promises of tapas, and when we asked for a tapas or food menu, a plate was immediately brought to us, mostly with shredded cabbage, humus and a single mozerella stick that must have been made last century since it was cold and hard(actually I am just guessing it was mozerella stick). Then we were charge 5 Euros for it. At least they did not put an ice cube in it and call it «La M*rde»… Quality of the drinks were also questionable. My first, a gin tonic, for 10.50, left much to be desired for that price, my friend felt she was drinking water. My Rose after was more promising, and under 5 Euros(then add the tapas surprise price and not happy camper) For due diligence, went to the bathroom. Seat not on straight, paper everywhere, making you wonder if anyone had taken care of the bathroom since last summer. On the plus side, it made me extra happy when I was in fact able to push out just enough soap to half wash my hands, and there was enough paper to dry it. So overall, a bit sad that a place with such high potential falls so short. The best part to it was the one nice waitress, but since it seemed she was all alone for the whole place, it was not always obvious to get her attention. Not sure why the guy clearing the glasses is not allowed to take our order, or the guy who keeps coming around asking to take our picture as if they are paparazzi for the best Vienna party ever.
