Das Johann Restaurant im Kürsalon

We just sat at the bar, before the evening show. We just wanted a drink and at first the people of the restaurant were very nice and courtious. But suddenly, without asking whether we wanted to order something else, or whatever, a waiter came and said «€ 7,40 bitte».
I am shocked by this way of treatment. Unacceptible and uninviting. It ruined the whole experience. What a nerve!
Such a waste, for it started so nicely.
Still I want to stay positive. The waiter might have had a bad day and maybe there was a miscommunication. Because it really doesn’t make any sense.
Another theory, is that we might have had to go because we only had a drink. But still it doesn’t make any sense. I leave it at this.

Amazing food! Had the Austrian white fish salad, veal and panna cotta to finish. The food and service was impeccable! Great way to start an evening before hearing Strauss!
