Morgens, (zu) früh, man braucht Kaffee, eventuell noch ein Kipferl und Leute, die verständnisvoll das verschlafene Genuschel verstehen und trotzdem freundlich bleiben.
Genau das findet man beim Ströck am Stephansplatz: freundliche Bedienung, frische Ware, tolle Öffnungszeiten. Und Kaffee — ganz wichtig.
Der Ströck am Stephansplatz hat sogar noch ein kleines Café dabei, das ich allerdings nur mäßig charmant finde. Auch die Raumaufteilung könnte besser sein, daher keine 5 Sterne.

This is one of the more interesting Ströck for me, as the seating area is separate from the serving area, therefore you get more privacy then you would normally have in these places. Normally you are seating in the same space as the counter, therefore everyone coming in and out is disturbing you.
Of course there is nothing so special about Ströck itself, but for a quick coffee and food they are very handy and i use them all the time.

Der Ströck hat eine umfangreiche Auswahl an gefüllte Weckern, verschiedene Arte vom Brote, leere Weckerl, viel Süßspeisen, Kaffe to go & Getränken.
Man muss nicht mal lange warten, das Team ist bestens eingespielt.
