We stopped by this place on our way to catch a bus back to Budapest, since nothing much was open in the morning. It’s highly rated on Unilocal so we decided to give it a try, and I’d say the atmosphere is cozy and artsy but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I got the omelet with chanterelles and sundried tomatoes(you really can’t go wrong with either), and it was okay but found it very greasy for my taste. Our server was also unfriendly, inattentive, and brusque, and I’m glad we were only there briefly to get food. If you’re looking for a pretty place to take photos, this might be your place. But if you care about the food, there are many other cheaper and more delicious places to explore.

Loved this place, excellent location and plenty(too many) of reason to over eat. We had the meat dumplings and union soup, both tasted excellent. For Polish standard, a little on the expensive side.

My only complaint about this place is that I didn’t come for breakfast lunch and dinner. Everything is fresh and absolutely fantastic, I would recommend the pasta with peas and prosciutto in cream sauce. The place itself is super cool, very small and romantic. Would love to come back in the warmer months.

This is one of the best places I’ve been to in Poland. Everything here is great. The raspberry tart is the best I’ve ever had. Lots of berries and not much sugar. Also, all of the sandwiches and soups are great. This place was our go to place when we were in Krakow, Poland.

Camelot café is one of those places you will talk about your friend. Corky place full of specific details leaving you wondering if you entered some other dimension. while you soak in ambience you will be served with smile by kind and nice staff bringing you awesome coffee and delicious cakes. Yet again I know why random Krakow tourist are envious when I say Iive here.

Breakfast was delicious! I had the 2 scrambled eggs with tomato. It came with bread, butter, and a coffee. A great way to start the day! I hope to go back because their menu was filled with many delicious sounding options.

I like from old times and find it very cosy and something with cracovian spirit. Coffee always tastes good in there and breakfast too. I like the area and also pop-in for sth to warm up or when you need a snack. Very nice place to start before going further :)

Love this place! Very bohemian setting. Love stopping in for some cheesecake and catching up with friends. Quiet and tucked away. Great vibe and décor. The one drawback– cash only. My friend wanted to pay with his card but was told they only accept cash. Be prepared. It would be nice for people to know they only take cash before they sit down for a meal. Maybe they can have a sign at the front or something. I recommend this place. I will keep going back.

Hidden gem. We stopped here for breakfast. The food was excellent, the service was phenomenal, and to top it off they give you apples with the bill. Very very cute

Many options in this place from morning to late night. But I only go for one thing: their szarlotka with everything on it, and when I say everything, let me tell you: serve the pie hot with chantilliy, fruits and vanilla ice cream. Hmmm, have a shot of zubruwka with that and you’re ready for winter

Popped into this restaurant and was very pleasantly surprised. It is very lovely and rustic inside. All the tables outside were full so say just in the entrance to get a breeze. The staff were great as I was on my Polish lesson and where very patient as I tried my best to order. I had a lemonade which was lovely, very home made and a café latte. I the had pirogy which was amazing. The menu is something different as well and almost an art form in it self. The cost wasn’t to bad and I spent a very pleasant couple of hours. I will certainly be back and couldn’t find a fault.

I went here with a colleague for dinner when in Kraków on business. Saw the positive write-ups on Unilocal and they were all accurate. It is a small place, and your seated closely together, but that is part of the charm of this place. It is old world and wonderful. The food and service was exceptional. If you’re looking for a really interesting place for lunch or a casual dinner, this is the place. Enjoy!

Camelot is a fantastic eatery. Upon arriving in Kraków, my friend and I decided to try the place out for breakfast. We were intrigued by the cozy, welcoming feel of the interior and were wowed by the sandwiches we ordered, the lox baguette and the sun-dried tomato/avocado sandwich. We’ve come back 2 times since and still are very impressed.

For some reason my mother and her friend love this place(so much that their husbands dare not resist and the obedient son trots along as it is their holiday). The food consists of that peculiar girly type: salads, tarts, etc geared to a woman’s palate. Don’t eat here if you are a man, even if you like salads and tarts normally(there are plenty of women who don’t like to eat here either). There is also one of those endless menus with far too many items to be prepared well. The outside seating has been improved and no longer feels like a game of sardines so it’s nice for a drink or a coffee on a warm summer evening. The service was useless, the waitress seeming neither to understand English nor Polish. She also charged us for a drink that had not been ordered even though we sent it back(but she returned it to the table). Hopefully it was the last time and they won’t ask to come back here next year.

As it is at the top of the list for Brunches in Krakow on Unilocal,we decided to give Camelot a go. It was a very sunny Sunday morning in spring but as Camelot is located in a corner, it was actually a bit windy and cold. The place itself is full of atmosphere and character, with lots of old artifacts and authentic elements. It needs to be said that the place is a little bit cramped, and the tables are quite small. We sat at a small round table with four chairs around it, but surely it was hardly spacious enough for two. Furthermore the wind was freely blowing into the establish and this made it quite cold: the couple at the table next to us were clearly shivering. We ordered two baguettes(or baquette as they call it), one with salmon and cream cheese, and one with dried tomatoes, avocado, lettuce and an egg(the menu also promised a corn salad but it was unclear whether they just forgot or it got lost in translation). Like the place itself, the plates were very pretty and appealing, but not very practical. The baguettes were of good quality but impossible to cut with the butter-knives that came with it. The only way of eating this in a classy way is eating off the layers of the top and finishing with the bread. They should give a serrated knife with dishes like this. Otherwise simple but tasty. One note about the service then: considering it was very busy the girls did the best they could, but nonetheless we waited for 20 minutes after ordering, after which one baguette came, and the other one followed five minutes later. Also, you cannot pay by card which sort of came as a surprise. Will we be back? Maybe to try the pie, it looked promising. But for 40 zloti(2 baguettes and one coffee) there are better brunches in town.

One of those delightful bohemian cafes they do oh so well in Poland! Just my kind of place. Situated a stone’s throw from our apartment at Florianska we had both breakfasts and desserts and summer evening tea drinks. Kind staff, reasonable prices, good quality food. Plenty of choices for vegetarians on the menu, wonderful freshly squeezed fruit juices, a gooey chocolate cake to fall in love with and lovely tea drinks(with or without alcohol). The interior is darling, but I’m glad we got to spend all those mornings and evenings outdoors in the warm summer city. A treasured memory indeed. I hope I will be back, in a not too far future.

Camelot café just around the corner from the Rynek Glowny, the«main square» in Krakow. This Café has 3 small rooms connected but each has its own«bohemian» atmosphere. A very nice and cozy place to relax a bit as we did after work. Each room has small tables and is decorated with small paintings and or artifacts. Service is fine, fast and enthousiastic, coffees, great espresso, cappuchino … Tried the cheesecake with raspberry sauce, fruitts and was amazing :) Looking for the holy grail …

mein liebstes Frühstückscafé in Krakau!
