Was expecting a lot of Communist memorabilia in line with the Name, was a bit disappointed. The deco was good, plenty of old signs but not in line with what you would expect from the propaganda name. A few signs here and there. The music and the bar tender were cool.

awesome place to go to that isnt touristy(which can be hard to find in krakow if you dont know your way around). Old knick knacks of socialist propaganda and old furniture. Worth your while for at least one drink!

Nice Pub. The beer is cheap. The service is nice. The guests are friendly and the bigger part of them polish guys. The atmosphere is a mix between a media museum because of the old radios and old(communist) propaganda posters and a scene pub.

Right next to the Jewish community centre and the Tempel synagogue, is propaganda, a bar which pays homage to Poland’s absurd, communist past. The walls are plastered with communist era posters, signs and portraits of various«dear leaders». The furniture and other paraphernalia are also saved relics of the past. I recommend a «Mad Dog», or «Wściekły Pies». It’s a shot that’s half clear vodka, half raspberry syrup, with a few drops of Tabasco. It might seem like an odd combination, but it will make sense once you try it. Both the raspberry and Tabasco neutralise the intensity of the vodka, rather successfully. Also, you know you’re in trouble once the bartender shares an anecdote of how she was once pranked into doing mad dog shots with spirit(80% alcohol), instead of vodka, and how it all ended badly. It means she might be pulling the same prank on you so watch the label on the bottle. If it reads«spirytus», you’re in trouble. I didn’t, and things ended badly.

This place is a must visit. The décor is incredible! The walls are adorned by communist posters and red flags. As well as that there is various memorabilia including a very old fashioned TV. The back of the bar feels a bit like someone’s living room(someone who loved communism!) You can get some coffee during the dayor maybe one of the bottled beers in the evening. I found no English spoken but managed to come out with the words for Coffee and Irish and got something that tasted close to what I was expecting(from her frantic gestures I interpreted that some ingredients were missing but that’s fine as most irish coffees i have had have been cobbled together at house parties with whatever was available).
