Carabali Rainforest Park

So much fun. This year we did the beach ride after last year taking the 2 hour trail ride and loving it. Loved the beach ride as well. Our party of 6 inexperienced riders ages 12 – 51 had a great time. We rode through the forest to Luquillo Beach which was beautiful. Our guides, Juan and Luis were friendly, funny and showed us a great time. The total ride was about 2 hours in addition to the 30 minute stop at Luquillo where you can swim or visit the shops or concessions.
I messed up and missed our reservation for ¹²⁄₂₂ but I called and it was no problem to witch us to ¹²⁄₂₃. It’s fun for all ages and I highly recommend.

My bf and I did the ATV at Carabali. We had the best guide, Papo! It was awesome — we stopped to take pics of El Yunque & to even take a dip in a beautiful river. Papo even took a video of us. Would definitely recommend!

This was the highlight of our very short weekend getaway. I made the reservations online a week before our trip and they responded back almost immediately with available times. Shortly after, a confirmation email was sent.
We rented two ATVs for 4 people for a 2 hour tour. Our tour guide Jay was great. He was funny and super attentive during the entire tour. Our safety was his number one priority and it couldn’t have been more obvious. We made a few stops. On these stops, he explained the environment, El Yunque, some history, etc. Not to mentioned, he slowed down to point out some cows and an iguana to us. One of our stops included a short swim in the river. Jay immediately jumped in, called us out on being too chicken for being afraid of the cold water and made his way up to a big rock and jumped off. Though hesitant, I swam over and climbed up to a baby rock and jumped off. After a few jumps, I climbed up higher and jumped again.
All in all, this tour was great. It should be on your must-​do list while visiting Puerto Rico.

I did the ATV and Mameyes River excursion and had such a fun time. I got to jump off rocks into the river and take lots of cool pictures. I learned how to make «face paint» from the colored rocks. Our tour guide did a great job.

General staff were friendly and the place seemed pretty well kept, but worst tour we’ve ever taken in PR and worst horse tour ever, period. First, it was just a walk/​trot down a trail for $ 115, might as well have been a carnival ride. The «guides» were there strictly to keep the horses in a straight line and with the exception of taking your picture, largely ignored the guests. I felt like they just wanted to get it over with. However, the worst part was the way the guides treated the horses. They constantly smacked them in the head and unnecessarily yanked the reigns of the guests horses. One guide took off his helmet an hit his horse in the head with it. I’ve been riding all my life and have never seen this kind of treatment of horses, especially in public and during a tour.
Don’t go, they just want your money, period.

Being on the ATV while riding through the rain forest was the highlight of my trip to Puerto Rico. Our guide Christian was super patient and friendly with my boyfriend and I as we were having trouble gaining control of our bikes. I recommended this spot to my sister and she brought a group with her the next day. They also loved it. We saw some awesome things on the tour and I will definitely go back if I vacation there again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an awesome adventure that doesn’t put a dent in your wallet.

Good place. lot of stuff to do. horse riding, live music, etc .Its a huge place with plenty of parking space.
The restaurant is great. We ordered chicken mofango, which was quite good.
The service is not that great. It took was around 45 minutes to get the food and another ten minutes to get the cards back after paying the bill.
They really need to expedite their kitchen.
Overall food and ambiance is good, just need to focus on service.

It’s a nice day trip — this is only for the one hour horse ride –so these are my recommendations — no reservations are needed but be prepared to wait — and when I say wait you will wait at least 2 HOURS !!
Best to get there early to avoid the wait —
We got there at 11:30 and was told our turn would be 2:30 — however things moved and our wait time was two two hours exactly — we started our horse tour at 1:45 and ended at 2:45 –
Also the website does say to wear long pants — make sure you wear long pants –

Of all the horseback riding places I’ve been too this has been the best horses, staff and price

We are a fan of their horse back adventure! Drove here on a whim and did not schedule anything. Looks like for their 1hr horse tours, you can just walk in. The staff, guide were all awesome. Love the area as it sits right next to El Yunque so it’s über tropical. You can hear the cookie frogs, all kinds of birds and the awesome breeze. Wish they offered a bread and breakfast here. Will be back next time.

My first taste if Puertorican cuisine. liked the mofongo and mango drink. The place/​park itself was cool with lot of people of all age groups. It was a sunday lunch with ppl around getting ready for the park adventures. the service was slow coz of the crowd at the restaurant. definitely recommend:)

Greatest horseback riding experience! Would do a 2 hour tour next time I visit. Our tour guide Fernando was great and shared some things about this area and Puerto Rico. Great guy. Oh and the horse I rode was Pedro and he liked to lead. Lol.

I’ve been here twice and enjoyed each. The guides are fabulous…(let them help you with photos) they are fun and informative. The surroundings are lovely but not exactly in the rainforest… at the foot of it certainly but you are not riding up the mountain. Felt extremely safe even with my 4 year old and a first time rider teenage niece. Will go again when I am next in PR.

Just arrived on the island for our honeymoon and my wife and I decided to do the horseback riding here in Luquillo. We had Manuel (Manny) as our guide and he did a great job instructing us on how to handle our horses. We do not have any riding experience and Manny was patient and very helpful.

Dope dope dope! Rose the atv’s through the mud and river! Had such a great time. It’s $ 45 for 1 hour and $ 85 for the 2 hour tour. The 1 hour was enough for the both of us you really get your money’s worth. If you ride the way I did you will get muddy!!! Be sure to make reservations ahead of time especially if it’s a group of y’all. Bring bathing suits if you wanna swim in their «clear river» because you will stop by it for 20 – 30 mins while on the atv trails

Absolutely hands down the best day spend on the island. The staff at the Hacienda were amicable and courteous. My family and I spent the full day there we were a party of five, 3 adults and two teenagers. There was fun for all here.
We did the horse trail and the atv’s and by then it was time for luck which was absolutely delicious.
Thank you so much to all the staff for making our time and the Hacienda fenominal.
Highly recommend this place if your visiting the Fajardo area.

Awesome attraction park! Took the 2hours ATV tour. I would have honestly loved to pilot those ATV a little bit more because it was so much fun!
I have been driving ATV in several places around the globe (Hawaii, Morocco, France…) i can tell you that this tour was the best I had on an ATV! Try it if you can, I would recommend it more than horseback riding!

Came here for the ATV ride and were not disappointed. Please MAKE SURE you have your DRIVERS LICENSE. I was turned down for renting my own ATV because I unfortunately left my license in the hotel. I was pretty made at the lady selling the tickets, but she was just doing her job. I ended up being a passenger on my husband’s ATV. We did the hour ride and I thought it was more than enough. They instructed on use of the ATV and went over some ground rules first. The trail went through some open fields as well as through the forest. I wished there was more mud and puddles, because that’s where the fun was. Also, I thought the trail was pretty even terrain and needed more hills. At some point of the tour, we stopped at a river for about 10 minutes.
The grounds did have bathrooms and changing rooms so I highly recommend bringing a change of clothes and maybe some older inexpensive shoes. We actually ended up going to walmart and buying cheap sneakers that were tossed after the ride.

Interesting place
I loved this place. We went in May 2014. Everything was perfect except the girl at the register when we paid for the ATV accused me for lying because the tour guide wanted my husband and I to go I separate machines because they were out of strong machines that hold two. We let the manager know and he was super nice and addressed the issue. The tour guides were extremely nice and the food at this place was just perfect.

This place has been around for years and is very cool. It is well kept, the horses are in good condition and the experience was very swift.
