Get the shrimp ceviche! Of all places in the aisle of kiosks, this place stands out because their food is made to order. Everything is fresh and in my opinion, more appeasing than other kiosks. Most of the kiosks have prepared food kept under heat lamps. The servers are extremely friendly and helpful. The menu is in English and you’ll have no problem ordering. I really enjoyed my ceviche because it was tangy – just the way I like it! My boyfriend got the mofongo with carne asada, which was okay. The plantains had a good consistency – not too dry – but the dish was very salty. The prices were a bit expensive for the amount you get, but the service and quality of ceviche was good.

Food was tasteless and Not worth the price… Even by a 3rd. Even if the plates were 5 bucks I would still give it one star. Food was cold and not as described. French fries are thrown in dishes like they are potatoes.? Their version of spicy chicken is bland and no spice. At ALL…

Overpriced subpar food with identity crisis. I’m not quite sure what this place is striving to be; a high end establishment, Thomas Keller?, or a Guy Fieri dive?!? First of all the prices were comparable to something in NY. Do businesses even have to pay federal or state taxes in PR? Low labor costs; then why $ 17 for chicken breast and rice. I mean it was a frozen Armark chicken placed in a dryer on permanent press. Some spices made it edible but still… And the«ceviche» was $ 19 for three pieces of shrimp and something chewy with an onion. So you’re paying NY prices for cafeteria food. There are plenty of other kiosks on the strip…

The ceviche here is delicious!!! This place is on the beach. The parking may be a challenge because it is just a strip of parking with many retailers along the strip. If you are fortunate to get a parking spot, this place has live music and delicious Peruvian food.

Really solid kiosk! The ceviche(we got the fish and shrimp) was a five, the rest of the food so flavorful and service was very good. The drinks weren’t amazing. Service was nice and so much faster than other kiosks. Definitely recommended!

Not worth a trip and money spent! Rice was way too salty, vegetables frozen, curry sauce just mehh. Sangriya tasted cheap and apparently comes from a premixed bottle

Had the Mixto Ceviche and Plantains. Both were very average and for a place that is called Ceviche Hut, I expected much better. The drinks were good though.

The most amazing ceviche and Paella we have eaten on the island. Our wonderful host Brad suggested this place and we are very thankful to him for that. This is a Peruvian inspired Puerto Rican place. Best from both sides :-) We tried the fish and octopus Ceviche. Both of them were cooked to perfection with a slight tangy kick to it. Make sure you order the hot sauce on the side as it is extremely hot. We also had the seafood Paella which was also very tasty. Our server was very helpful and attentive to us. They have some deals going on, for example the day we went it was everything on the menu 13 $ which is a very sweet deal. The pisco sour here is a must try :-)

I like Peruvian food a lot, and do surprise found a really good one in Puerto Rico! Their mofongo is the best one I had here. And my friends they took steak and spaghetti, also perfect! Love it!

Saturday, 11:00AM. Quickie: * Food + Friendly staff — Limited menu — Turnaround * Cleanliness And then??? We chose outdoor patio seating, with a sweet view of the beach. Their plantains option can use work. ********** Stuffed my face in: 1. Fried plantains — Dry and dipping sauce did not enhance the dish. Constructive comments: *What about recycling? *Option for compost

Stopped by for a snack and decided to say in the wheelhouse. Excellent ceviche. Meaty and fresh. My dream girl had a nice pisco sour and I knocked back a couple local brews. Good times.

Wow is how i’ll start this. We had some tiny samples of ceviche while on our food tour at Café El Punto, just enough to excite our taste buds. After doing the Caribali El Yunke ATV tour we were recommended this place by our tour guide Shawn. What an excellent recommendation. Ceviche taste like it was just caught. We had the mixed seafood cevice which came with a slice of sweet potato and almost popped corn kernals. The meal was amazing. We washed it down with a Peruvian favorite(pisco sour). I don’t know if it was the potency of that delish drink or the fact that the ceviche was so light but i was done after drinking mine and ½ my guys! Wonderful spot, great customer service and good food. This is kiosk#38 on the strip of Kiosks located on interstate PR3, Luquillo. Be sure to park and check out the other vendors selling everything from Fresh and fried fish, accupurias with meat and crab stew, empanadas, oysters and clams with homeade hot sauce(in an Aunt Jemima syrup bottle of course), rice and beans and cocktails galore. You do not need Gauvate if you go here. The entire area outside the kiosk strip has roast pig along the main highway. Best of all the beach is a short walk away!

Will never go again! Went on a Wed., the special was, all entrees $ 13. The place is usually $ 20+ a plate. Ordered churrasco, flank steak in a puruvian sauce and a curry chicken dish. All of the dishes were a disappointment. Churassco came with wilted, old lettuce and was over salted. Side of rice was under cooked. Flank steak, was not a steak you would expect. It was stir fried in a brown sauce with a ton of onions and french fries! Rice, again, was under cooked. Curry chicken, had 5 bits of chickwn with a ton of onions. Over salted. Rice under cooked. We had also ordered drinks… Asked for a couple of brands. not available. Settled for whatever. Served chilled not cold! Service was ok. Server was pleasant but would just put things down in front of you while talking to others.I.E. her friends. We wanted more drinks after we ate, but the ticket was thrown in front of us as if to push us out of the restaurant.

The size of the seafood paella is extremely small comparing to its price, and is very very salty. Waited forever to get served. The server forgot our drinks.

I’m not sure how to express the sound that came out of my mouth when I opened the menu except one that sounds similar to someone getting punched in the stomach. The menu that’s outside to lure you in cleverly has no prices, so you don’t realilze you’re basically about to sit down at a $ 20ish or more per plate KIOSK. That price point is redonk, even for a touristy place. Anyways, I settled on some mussell ceviche for $ 18. Yeah, just okay. Like just okay and not worth nearly $ 18. I was not a happy camper with the quality, the price or anything about this stupid place. The menu is huge, and it’s all $$$. The only good deals are the specials. Fool me once… and I give you $ 18 for shoddy ceviche and kvetch about it later.

It’s kind of hard to get a feel for the kiosks if you’re only in the area for one day. Luckily my boyfriend and I stayed in Luquillo for several days and got to try different ones. Ceviche Hut and Terruno(kiosk #20) were my favorites and I highly recommend these 2 if you need to narrow down your choices. Several reviews said service was slow, but I couldn’t disagree more. As soon as we were seated, we told our server(Ricardo) that we needed to catch a tour in about an hour and a half. He was extremely accommodating and took our order almost immediately. Bf and I shared an appetizer and an entrée, both based on Ricardo’s recommendations. The pulpo appetizer was perfect!!! The dish was VERY generous with the super tender octopus, which was served warm(a nice surprise because I’m used to cold octopus dishes). It sat on a bed of salad with a creamy yet light mayo sauce. Get this and your taste buds won’t be disappointed! This was definitely the best octopus dish I have ever had. Next was chicken mofongo. Unlike other places where the mofongo is a bowl for the protein, here the chicken was the main focus of the dish. The chicken was tender and nicely sauteed with onions, beans, carrots, and water chestnut. Bf said it was just like Chinese takeout chicken… but it was still good regardless. We liked that this meal wasn’t too salty.(And clearly, despite being called Ceviche Hut, the rest of the menu is excellent as well). Ceviche Hut isn’t that cheap for a beachside hut(~$ 20 per entrée), but the food was great, the place was clean, and service was awesome!

We stopped here about 2:30 pm, after the El Yunque rain forest on Christmas Eve — more than half of the stalls were closed but fortunately for us this one was open. All dishes on the large menu were $ 13 — even items marked«large» which were normally $ 20+ were for some reason on special sale — maybe lunch priced, who knows, but I felt that we got a great bargain. We ordered octopus ceviche, mixed seafood ceviche and a paella. All the food was outstanding, and portions were large. The ceviche was fresh and delicious. My husband LOVED his octopus ceviche, which was served with mofongo — his new fave. Don’t hesitate. to come. here. yum. I have to say it was one of the best meals of our vacation, all things considered.

It’s great to see the Luquillo kiosks being transformed to a culinary heaven for up and coming chefs than a drinking scene for old men like it used to be. The Luquillo kiosks are now being bought by young chefs to showcase their talents in a small casual family-friendly environment. The Ceviche Hut is a Peruvian themed restaurant among many other regionally themed restaurants. It’s a great option for alternative cuisine in an area that Puerto Rican cuisine dominates the restaurant business. The service was great. We were greeted as soon as we sat down and our ordered were placed promptly. The ceviche is a very popular choice and you can choose from fish, chicken, shrimp and a couple more options. A great option is also the chaufa. It’s like a Peruvian fried rice. It’s a great portion to share. The place is a bit pricey and you might be surprised considering the exterior look of all the kiosks but I think it’s a great addition to the area.
