I’ve visited Puerto Rico many times, and in 2014 I took a short trip wanting to get certified for scuba diving. With limited time in Ponce, Jesus Morales and his team at Blue Water Scuba were able to accommodate me. The sessions ranged from one-on-one classes in the pool to excursions with two instructors for five beginners at Crash Boat Beach in Aguadilla. After Crash Boat, diving instructor Jose Franco stopped at a food truck, where we had a feast of ribs, roast chicken, cassava, and rice.
It was a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to go on the boat. Thank you Blue Water Scuba.

The boat was very packed. You must show up very organized and ready to dive. It may be a special case; however, there were many students on the dive and it delayed going under. Also, I would confirm how many people will be on the dive and evaluate if you will be comfortable with a packed boat. The site itself was phenomenal; however, if there are less experienced divers you won’t go far! Make sure to check what level are the other divers. I do plan on using them again, but with more information on the dive.
