The pork dumplings were great! Good size portions and great service. However, it was a little dark in the restaurant. Very hard to read the menu. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend!

I absolutely loved this place! Great service, great view, great ambiance, great food! We made a reservation for 3 on a Friday night & were seated immediately upon arrival. Favorite appetizer: shrimp sui mai. Favorite entrée: chicken lo mein. Portions are generous, prices are a higher than usual but common for this nice area(high end stores and restaurants). The drinks were also very good and i can’t stress how great the service was. I will definitely be back here again.

Definitely a restaurant that is worth every dollar. Visiting from CA. Requested by a family friend to visit, her cousin is the chef. Exceeded all expectations, food was elegant, presentation and taste! The service was first class, and if we ever get the opportunity to come to this beautiful Island again we will enjoy the menu once again

Loved this place on our previous visits but hated it this time. Dry dumplings, gummy sauces, stringy ducky, it was yucky and service was terrible! Don’t go if there is a PFCHANGS near you, they have better food at half the price.

We ordered vegetarian food. Great food. Everything was simply delicious. Loved it. The lava cake for dessert was just too good. A must must try!

The absolute worst food I’ve had in Puerto Rico. «With a Latin twist» seems to mean triple fried. I could have looked past this or at least not leave a review if the service wasn’t so terrible. Our«waitress» came by 2x once for the order and once for the check. F this rat hole. Only thing I will say that was decent was the interior design but that ended up being bait for crap food.

What an outstanding restaurant! If you are in Condado, you simply must go. And, when you do — everything is great, but order the dumplings. Make reservations and enjoy this quaint little jewel. One of the best local spots in Puerto Rico.

I felt very sick eating here. Food was heart attack central. I had the duck rice and the tacos as an appetizer, and the carrots as a side– all to share. I wish I hadn’t ordered food at all. We stumbled on this place waiting on di Parma(which is great). Our specific waitress was rude but it seems like other servers are nice. Food was over salted and layered in oil. Two stars for the view of the park and the nice hosts.

One of the best meals we had in Puerto Rico and we had some great meals there. Great mix of Asian with local flair. Sea food tacos were amazing. Ahi tuna was about the best I’ve ever had. Everything was so fresh and everything had tremendous flavor. We will definitely go back when we return to Puerto Rico.

Too expensive for No reason! Food is a little too blahhhh. Some things are tasty and some are just nothing special The appetizers are big portions, we didn’t realize and ordered too much. We’re full from two appetizers. Service is not great for the type of restaurant it is. Would not recommend

Our party of 4 had branch at Budatai on November 29. I found the portions skimpy and expensive. Food was average at best and closer to poor. They did not even bring toast for the omelettes. They will not be seeing us again. Not recommended.

Would have given it all 5 stars if it weren’t for the spotty service.(Had to ask for silverware and dessert order was wrong, but they were nice about fixing it) Food is superb. Salmon was perfectly cooked and quinoa was excellent. Also worth raving about is the shrimp fried basmati. Gin & tonic was good and potent. Don’t miss this great food!

This restaurant is super chic and trendy; starting with the ultra modern ensemble of the hostess to the overall décor and feel. The whole front of the restaurant is glass that overlooks the plaza, and we were sat right along it! The service was fantastic. I would give that 5 stars. Our server and his team was very attentive. Our water glasses were never empty. We ordered a slew of appetizers and the duck fried rice(that was incredible — the sweet touches of the plantain were amazing). My favorite app by far was the herame — light but flavorful with the addition of the coconut crème. The pork belly was disappointing, way too thick and tough. We didn’t finish those. I would recommend the chocolate crème for dessert. Overall the experience was above average.(3.5 stars) Glad we tried it out. A bit expensive for what you get.

Absolutely love this place. Food was sooo good. Ambiance was perfect. Chic! Went for the first stop to a bachelorette party and it started the night right. The portions are large so you can share.

Great food, poor service. Would not recommend. Not worth the high price. Dinner came out at 4 different times, salad last. We asked for a manager who never came to the table. Everyone makes mistakes, but only those that want to stay in business correct them. Will not be back. Chances are you wont be around anyway.

Loved the food! I had the seared tuna and it was perfect along with a few drinks. Great view of the«Ventana del Mar» area across the street as well. The staff was very courteous and efficient

Boooo-datai is overpriced and serves terrible food, a deadly combination for your wallet and stomach. I am guessing it survives on the basis of tourist foot traffic, as it is the only«high end» Asian inspired restaurant along the main tourist strip in Condado. I would be shocked at much repeat business. First, the positives. The service and setting were excellent… as were the cocktails. Maybe we should have just stopped at drinks. Alas, we stupidly ordered dinner. All of us ordered various fish dishes. Uniformly, they were over cooked… the tuna was barely recognizable it was so overdone. The killer, literally, however, was the degree of oversalting. Barely edible. I was about to send mine back, but did not want to create a scene as it was a business meal. It was only when we were all half way done that we all voiced to each other how terrible the food was. The verdict was unanimous. Why spend ridiculous prices for such amateurish food??? BOOOFOR Budatai.

Unique and fancy establishment and the dumplings were nothing short of a party in my mouth!!! Wow, flavorful pork with a dash of sweetness from the platain. Grilled octopus appetizer and ceviche with coconut did not disappoint. We enjoyed the scallop pad Thai. Yummers!!! Dining there at night one can not truly enjoy the gorgeous Ventanas Beach view, nevertheless, the view of Ashford Ave can always be nice. The ambience and service was top-notch. We will defenitely be back and explore the rest of Buda Thai’s menu(but defenitely ordering the very unique dumplings and ceviche again) We were there on a Wednesday night around 9pm with a reservation, place was not crowded. Cool and classy, yet not stuffy.

With Gucci and Louis V located right next door, you should already be getting a good sense of the kind of restaurant to expect. It’s quite nice inside and without question a very unique, exhilarating fusion. As others have noted, the dumplings are quite tasty. I also tried the duck croquets and the kale salad, both of which were also phenomenal. Prices are steep, especially considering this is Puerto Rico, but it’s in an upscale, touristy area, so that is to be expected. Although I came here for lunch when we were almost the only people there, i know this place gets very hopping for dinner. I could see this being a great casual date spot, not too formal and not too casual. Oh, and make sure you take the elevator. The stairwell looks like something out of a run down apartment complex in Eastern Europe.

Food: — Pork Dumplings served with shaved truffles: 6 large dumplings. The sauce was really. The only thing I didn’t like was that the filling was straight up pork. A lot of it. I like dumplings with a little bit of vegetables to give it some dimension. 3⁄5 — Duck Croquettes: of the 3 appetizers we ordered, this was my favorite. 3 balls of duck meat fried to a tasteful crunch. This was so yummy — I wanted more! 5⁄5 — Fried Calamari: fried and tossed in grilled sweet onion. I liked the extra twist of the added onions. The calamari wasn’t too chewy and extra crunchy. Just how I like it. 4⁄5 — Duck Fried Rice: Rice, duck, white onions, green onions, and red bell peppers cooked with way too much sauce and green onions(which I don’t even like). It was as if the chef took a handful of green onions and threw it into the skillet. The dish was too sweet for my liking and way too saucy. I like my fried rice a little on the dry side(not too dry, but definitely not with this much sauce). It tasted amazing the next day when I added half a cup of white rice, black pepper, and Sriracha. 3⁄5 Service: The food and drinks came out rather quickly considering we were a table of 25. But, it took forever for us to pay the bill. I don’t understand why we got our bills 4 – 5 people at a time. It would make sense if we got our bills at the same time. 3⁄5 Final thoughts: I would definitely come back and try other dishes here. I’m still thinking about the duck croquettes. lol. The price is a little on the high end. The appetizers were worth the price, but I wouldn’t order the duck fried rice again.
