Good food. I love the setup. Park bench surrounded by tasteful graffiti. I ate fish tacos. It was flavorful with a good balance of savor and sweetness. I would return.

I adore this place! It was the second restaurant I visited during my very first visit to Puerto Rico. Now I have relocated to the island and even though I live about 45 minutes away, I still make weekly or biweekly visits for the sliders.

Cool place! You should definetly go for the mashed sweet potato as your side dish. Amazing! I had the veggie mini burger and honestly it wasnt anything to hooray about but on the other hand — not all veggie stuff are good. Maybe you should try the chicken burger or something :) LOVED the passion fruit juice though!

Good fresh food, nice service and an interesting variety beyond what you see all around town. Its a little on the pricey side… which is weird considering they are serving food outside of a shipping container, but whatever. Paying for the uniqueness I suppose. Food was tasty. I’d go back.

Café Tresbé was amazing. We saw this on Unilocal when we booked our hotel and were excited to check it out. It’s a permanent food stand with an awesome menu, a super helpful and nice staff and some great food. We were there for dinner and loved the casual vibe of the patio as we could watch other people on the street go by. I had steak tacos with hot sauce(yum), fries because why not, and split some key lime pie because again, why the hell not? Everything was good, but that key lime pie was insanely good. We’d been wanting a place to get some good pie all trip long and the last night we found it here. My wife had the crab empanadilla and tropical salad which were both awesome as well. We wanted to get a juice or a smoothie the next day but ran out of time. I love places like this and wish they would open one in KC; I would go here all the time after a night out or for a lunch.

I go to café Tresbe very often and their food is always consistent, service is great and they have great fruit smoothies plus an Italian chef who makes the best pizzas!!! I love this place and you can hang out with your friends and BOB. It’s perfect! If you come to Puerto Rico please stop here and experience local street food with lots of love and awesome ambience!

Love the outdoor dining, and the food tastes fantastic. Sadly, you don’t get a lot of food for the price, but if all you’re looking for is a late night snack then this might be a good way to go. We started with an order of ceviche, which was delicious. After that we split an order of fish tacos and an order of churrasco tacos. The flavor of both was spot on, but we were still hungry enough for another round afterwards(so unless you aren’t hungry, you probably won’t have any trouble finishing two orders of tacos). The acai smoothie was pretty good too. I’d have been happier with this place if the food was a little more filling, but it’s definitely worth a visit.

Stopped by for lunch. Tried the pollo tacos and hubby had the fish ones with sweet potato fries & fried plantains. Everything was so full of flavor. Even the smoothies are good. Everyone is so friendly and helpful!

Amazing sliders. We will always make this a stop any time we go to PR. the food here is fantastic. The ambiance is very causal and cozy. Having been here during the day and also at night, I definitely recommend this as a night time date spot. To be honest, I don’t think we’ve ever eaten anything mediocre or average in Puerto Rico. Every restaurant we’ve been to is among our favorites ever, but this place tops that list. I can’t recommend this place enough if you like to eat food.

Perfect little sliders and fish tacos so good I ate some despite not liking fish because of my allergies. Awesome juices and sauces. Everything was fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Great spot for people watching on Loiza Street.

I’ve been here a few times now. Everything is fresh here, and it shows. The flavors of all the food comes across as simple and flavorful. He first time I came to Tresbé, I had the Ceviche and Fish tacos, and my buddy had the Tamarind BBQ wings. We also tried the Breadfruit tostones, and had Coconut water to drink. I will definitely be a regular here. The atmosphere is very laid back, and they always have chill music playing. Some days and times, you can even bring your own beverages! Staff is very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. They want you to be happy while you’re there and when you leave. If you love fresh ingredients and want a good, chill, hang out spot for you and your friends, Tresbé is the spot!

This is a great local dive. It’s basically a permanent food truck that serves yummy tacos, appetizers, smoothies, and some local cuisine. The highlight of this place is their fish tacos. They have a lot of flavor and are very popular. The tamarind bbq wings are also pretty good. The restaurant is open fairly late so they are one of the limited choices on most late nights.

Food: — Tamarind BBQ Chicken Wings: The wings were good. The tamarind flavor was subtle. I liked the addition of chopped pineapples. The only problem was there was barely any sauce on the chicken wings. It was lightly poured over the wings. It would have tasted a lot better if the wings were cooked in the sauce. 3.5÷5 — Empanadilla Carrucho: I wanted the crab but they ran out so I settled for the chapin but they ran out of that also. My third choice was the fish turnover which was okay. 3⁄5. — Fish Tacos: Battered fish topped with cabbage slaw and sauce. The fish tacos were okay. I’ve definitely had better. The fish was more meaty than fishy and it lacked flavor. It could have been crunchier. 3⁄5 — Sweet Potato Fries: The sweet potato fries did not taste or look like sweet potato fries. We asked to make sure they didn’t get our order wrong but they said it was correct. The fries were a little dry and not sweet or hot. It was rather disappointing. 1⁄5 — Acai Bowl: Includes acai berries, mango, slices of bananas, strawberries, and yogurt topped with shredded coconut and drizzled with honey. This was delicious. Even though we were full from dinner, we still devoured the acai bowl. The bowl is filling, I shared it with 2 girlfriends. 5⁄5 Service: The staff were friendly. I liked the ambiance. It’s hipster-ish. I enjoyed the music that was playing as well. 4⁄5 Final thoughts: This place is pretty chill. I enjoyed being there and hanging out with friends but I had higher expectations for the food. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. Maybe I’m just too picky.

Service is fast, it’s clean and it is perfect food if you are in a hurry. They have sliders, empanadas and a few other fried appetizers as well as a pizza menu. I personally had the Crab, Camarones and queso y cebolla. I really liked the later and the Camarones empanada was pretty good. My friend had the salmon slider appetizer with fries but she didn’t seem that impressed by it. Can’t speak about the pizza here but the couple next to us was having one and it seemed enough for two people.

This is a stationary food truck. The name«Tresbe» comes from the three«b’s» in spanish: bueno, bonito, y barato(good, pretty, and cheap). They’re pretty true to their name(except the barato part… maybe not as cheap as I’d like). First time I went I only had a salad because I had eaten fairly recently. Can’t say I’m a giant fan of the salad but everything else was delicious. The burger sliders and fries that my friend got were definitely more tasty and exciting than my tropical themed salad(sorry guys, I just don’t think it works that well). It’s hard to find good salads in PR so I can look over that. The space is cute, outdoors, a bit hipstery. There may be mosquitos(as anywhere outside in PR) so look out for those. They have a small parking lot which is always full because everyone in Puerto Rico has four cars that they use to drive down the block. But, the food turn around time is pretty fast so chances are you just have to wait a little while before a space clears up. You may end up blocked by a different car but it’s not too hard to find who it belongs too. Their menu is deceptively larger than it appears at first. They have tacos, burgers(of different varieties!), anti pastos and pasta, pizzas, smoothies, desserts, and these«bowls» that I should check out before I go back to the states. Everyone in Puerto Rico seems to have caught on to the acai berry craze, and this place is no exception with it’s well known acai bowl. Next time I’ll try some of the sliders or fish tacos which I’m told are the stars. And maybe some acai stuff, you know, to be hip. From what I can tell, they don’t sell alcohol but on certain nights they’ll provide ice bucks for you to byob. Nice!

We wanted to check out the food truck scene while in Puerto Rico. This one is technically stationary but it’s food from a hut nonetheless. Perfect for beach dwellers looking for a daytime snack. And then in our case, a bite to eat wandering the streets and exploring. We also came to try the fish tacos the locals raved about. It was our one break from plantains and carne frita all week. And a welcome break it was. We ordered fish tacos and an empanandilla, which is similar to an empanadas but the crust is a little more corn mealy, and thicker. Great snack! The fish tacos were a win too! Super crispy, tempura like batter. Slightly sweet and tangy slaw to pull it all together topped with crema. It was the most refreshing bite of good we had that week. Light and flavorful. The place is easy access from the beach, there are tons of picnic tables for people watching while enjoying your meal under the shade of an umbrella. Go for it!
