We came here while staying at the Sheraton. I agree with everyone else that it’s over priced. $ 12.50 is the cheapest burger and fries or any sides range from $ 3-​$ 4 dollars more. I got the CBC burger which has caramelized onions and mushrooms which were done well. Overall good burger but not $ 13 good. Also got the cheese fries which I was expecting to have fries with slices of American cheese melted on top but it was actually like nocho cheese soup, yuckie. They must of taken the comments about service to heart though because they took our order quickly and food was out within 10 mins. Only thing we didn’t get was water refills. Overall I’d go back in a pinch but would probably try and find else where to go for their prices.

Stayed at the Sheraton so decided to give it a try. First of all way overpriced, which I figured it would be a little overpriced being at the hotel but it was even more so than I thought it would be. Service is terrible. Took forever to take our orders. When we finally did get our food two peoples orders were ice cold. Took over 30 minutes for 4 burgers. Not worth the wait at all.

While in San Juan during our cruise, my husband and I stopped in here for lunch. We are very glad that we did. We arrived just as the restaurant was opening and were seated right away. The staff here is very friendly and makes you feel welcome.
The burgers here are fantastic. They have several different options to choose from, and they will cook the burger to your liking. I had the Brunch Burger. It comes with cheese, bacon, and an egg on top. It was delish!
Just one thing to keep in mind: the menu is Ala Carte. So if you want fries with your burger, it is extra. Speaking of fries, try the cheese fries. They are awesome.
If we ever make our way to San Juan again, we will be sure to make another stop here for sure.

Extremely disappointed with our dinner here. Family of Four cost over $ 100 for burgers, fries, and drinks! That’s ridiculous in my book. If you’re going to charge $ 12+ for a burger then throw in the fries. If you’re going to charge for the fries then don’t have your servers ask, «Are fries ok with your burgers»? The burgers were honestly ok at best. The only reason we are here was because we were staying at the hotel. We definitely won’t be back.

Horrible service unless you are of Spanish descent. Plan on waiting for long periods of time before you are even acknowledged. Do not waste your time with this spot, there are much nicer places to spend your money.

Had the Jibarito Burger and Tostones. Burger was perfectly cooked! Read a lot of other reviews on here and it seems like those people didn’t realize what a burger place is like. Not a huge menu but the mojitos were delicious, burger was amazing, and the Tostones on point! No where close to «fast food» quality that other reviewers mentioned. Glad we gave it a try!

Tremenda localización, pésimo servicio, hay que rogar hasta para que te cobren. Después de esperar tanto el hamburger estaba quemado… buuu

Nice, comfortable place with reasonable prices. Large portions were a surprise and the wait staff very courteous. Highly recommend for a casual lunch!

I read the other reviews for CBC and I really didn’t feel like it was a fair rating at all. I ordered the veggie burger, onion rings, fries and my girl ordered a bacon cheeseburger. Everything was way better than fast food for a reasonable price. Check out the pictures — the portions were all satisfyingly large enough.
Easily recommend and repeat visit.

The greatest burger. Love love. Located in the Sheraton hotel in Old San Juan. This place fulfilled my expectations me being a hamburger fanatic. Great flavor and juicy; well made. Small menu but great taste. Either you can sit inside or outside enjoying the fresh breeze and the bay view where in times presence the cruise ships.

didn’t have any food here, but had a few drinks out on their outside patio at night, since we were staying at the Sharton that was attached… the passion fruit mojito was awesome, and even the regular one was very good. I think maybe they put a bit of limeaid into their mojitos, but it was nice and sweet with the mint leaves just being smashed a bit, not ruined and turned into mush…
had mojitos at a few other places, and just wanted to yell «you are only supposed to bruise the leaf people, not mash it into a fine paste!»

Only had drinks here. The daquiris were extremely weak — couldn’t taste or see any rum. We also ordered a «strong» rum drink as recommendation from the waiter and got a dark rum and club soda drink — pretty dull, nothing spectacular.
Drinks range from $ 4 (beers) — $ 11 (cocktails). I wouldn’t go back here — smelled like fried food and isn’t the best place to get drinks especially considering you’re in Puerto Rico. Convenient since connected to the hotel.
Go somewhere else — you’re on vacation!

Got off ferry after a tour and wanted a quick easy and standard dinner. We sat outside and ordered beers and burgers. Turn Around time was fast, we had ordered and paid our check within An hour and a half. Burgers were comparable to a five guys which was good for our table and the side of cheese fries and onion rings were great. It was a little on the pricey side for what we had but was expected considering it is directly across from where the cruise ships dock. Service wasn’t so great but expectations on food made up for it. Not my worst dinning experience in the area but not the best. All in all a solid meal for the price.

Burgers are tasteless, lack any seasoning.
Fries and onion rings are decent.
So many better places to eat in old San Juan!

Este establecimiento me fue recomendado por muchas amistades como uno de los mejores sitios para comer hamburgers. In amigo que me lo recomendó me trajo y pedimos un Jíbaro Burger y un cheeseburger y del primer bocado mi amigo me dice que no sabe como recuerda. El jíbaro burger consiste de salsa criolla, queso del país, amarillos (plátanos maduros) y lechuga — tomate. Para decir poco no tenía mucho sabor y para que valga los $ 12 tenía que añadirle ketchup y mayonesa. El servicio era inferior y al tiempo de pagar pusieron un hold de $ 30 en mi tarjeta de debito por sí rebota el pago.
No recomiendo!

It’s surprising how acceptable it is to have horrible customer service and to basically expect it to not affect your business. Sat for about 10 minutes with not that many tables and more wait staff than customers, though the staff was busy talking and socializing amongst themselves. We had to get there attention to have them come over and take our order. On top of that, the burger was average at best and the wings were also just okay.

It’s bar food. The French fries and cheese were not good. The wings and onion rings were tasty.
