The food was really good, simple but good. I got a chimichanga and usually fee like crap after eating Mexican but I didn’t. It was 7 $ for the changa which back at home normally cost 10. Place was really cute too. Totally worth going to.

Amazing food, and I’m really happy that they have a vegetarian menu. I ordered the vegetarian chimichanga and it was delicious. The place is great, the owner is very kind and made sure that everyone had a great experience. Great people

The burrito was like any other burrito. I was not very impressed, and would have much preferred a Chipotle burrito to the one served to me. The taco was also OK. My friend had the vegetarian tacos. We thought it sounded cool, but soon realized it was literally a taco on lettuce.

Really enjoyed our lunch here — great service, good food. Happy hour 2 for 1 margaritas is awesome — recommend the tamarind and ginger — very refreshing.

Relaxed beach spot with delicious food and drinks. Came here after a long flight and really ate so much that I gave myself a stomachache, it was all so good. The chicken chimichanga is huge, I think you could share it. The guacamole is mild, is prefer a little spicier, but still fresh and good. The guava pastries for dessert are delicious!

Came by early Tuesday evening hoping for a marg. unfortunately, the waiter said they weren’t serving alcohol. I ordered an tamarind and ginger juice and an order of guacamole. The juice was good, the guac, so so. Lots of large tomatoes which I appreciated but a little more watery than I like.

Tacos were pretty good. Not authentic Mexican but their style is still very tasty. I had the chicken and beef ones. Know that they are bigger than normal. Burritos are the thing to get here. I had a chicken one. A little bummed they didn’t have carne asada but still satisfied. Ideal for a quick little sit down while on the go.

My family and I had veggie burritos, tostadas, and taco. The food was extremely good. To go along with it we ordered their tamarind and ginger margaritas and they were also very refreshing.

I popped in here for a late bite so didn’t get the full experience, but I will say this: the chicken burrito was swell, and the churros were really fresh, really crisp, and basically just thoroughly excellent. And I don’t even like churros.

Excellent food option(carnitas quesadilla, carnitas china chipotle and tamarindo ginger agua fresca). Excellent service and good price. The local is small but its cool and clean. The flavor at carnitas is very very awesome.

Tasty, hip little shop with 80s music. We got the vegetable taco, carnitas taco, and pastor burrito. Veggie taco was great, and the pastor was terrific. Also they pour a strong drink — I got the Muerte en Vida. I was a bit disappointed in the strength of the drink because I wanted to taste the tamarind-ginger agua fresca more. The salsa that comes with free chips is also very good! Just be aware that the portions are a bit small. Consider getting extra guacamole or ceviche in addition to your dinner.

Great patio, where you can sit and enjoy the breeze while you eat. Great music, if you like reggae. Sadly, reggae makes me want to stab myself in the ear so I don’t have to hear it. Fortunately, they’ve only got plastic utensils here. The food is decent, but I wouldn’t say great. I ordered the al pastor burrito, my wife the tacos de lechuga al pastor. Both of them were drowned in some kind of unappetizing, watery sauce. The texture was more along the lines of shredded meat than something spit-grilled, but would have been good anyway if it weren’t for the sauce. It was good enough that I’d give them another chance, but there are other places in the area that I liked a lot better.

I had really high hopes for this one! I do love the patio and their choice of Bob Marley music, but the food was a little awkward. I have never seen or tasted a lettuce taco, but it seemed like a good idea seeing as how I like to do low carb(and save my macros for dessert). I thought it tasted fine, but the deluge of watery sauce after biting in was a bit of a buzzkill. Maybe they just washed the lettuce? Also, they didn’t ask if we specifically wanted bottled water when we ordered water. If you’re going to up charge me, at least let me know! There are far better tacos a few blocks away(Acapulco Taqueria).

Awesome, inexpensive dining experience. Tamarind ginger margaritas were the happy hour special for the day, 2 for $ 7. We had a nice waitress, fast service. Great staff, explained many dishes. Ordered chicken chimis, and churros. Everything was delicious. Included complimentary chips n salsa. Loved the quirky luchador/day of the dead/mexican décor. A short walk from our hotel. Perfect place to unwind.

If you are in Ocean Park you have to visit this place. It’s themed after a Lucha Libre ring. The food is fantastic, the staff is great and tequilas shots are on specifically everyday. Their burritos, quesadillas and tacos are all great. You really cannot go wrong here.

We ordered the ceviche and two tacos– chicken and shrimp. The ceviche here is AMAZING! Super fresh and not too flavorful as to drown out the fresh fish. I wish I could order a whole bowl. As for the tacos Chicken taco– a little salty and not too tasty. couldn’t distinguish the ingredients within the chicken because there was an overpowering saltiness to it. Shrimp taco– I prefer this one as the shrimp were fresh, plump, and juicy. There’s a nice sauce with it that adds fullness to the taco. The drinks were good, standard margarita… nothing special. Overall did its job, it’s good!

I go at least once a week for a margarita or a corona. It is nice to sit outside and just enjoy the day. The seating inside is super limited! They offer chips and piqué as soon as you sit. I have tasted everything on the menu and it is all great! The picadillo is sea precisely interesting because it has a hint of sweetness(I think they put sweet plantains in the mix). They have daily drink specials, but only on two drinks: either a cranberry/cinnamon margarita or a ginger/tamarind margarita… I say NOPENOPENOPE to both, but their regular margarita is pretty good. Also, there are masks inside that you can try on for picture taking!

This place was recommended to us by a local, and it was SOGOOD. I ordered the pastor lettuce tacos, and I was so happy with the portion for the ~$ 10 item. I’ve never had pastor either, so that was an experience for me. The waiter couldn’t really describe it(in English), and I just understood that it included pork and pineapple. I had friends who had different versions of the quesadillas(pork, chicken, pastor), and they were all delicious. The thing that stood out to me most were the tortillas, they looked so different than what I’m used to, and I forgot to ask about it. Darker and speckled. Possibly homemade? The interior was cozy, and the outside seating area was very cute. Upon arriving, there was a man singing to the customers on the patio, I’m not sure what that was about.(Although it was fun to watch/hear).
