Please just go to Taco Bell. As tourist we didn’t know any better and thought from the lovely pictures on the menu we were in for some good tacos. They were not good. Nothing was fresh. We literally saw them pop all of our food in the microwave. This is a downgrade version of Taco Bell. Which are on every corner is this Americanized city. Husband had chicken tacos. Plain microwaved chicken with no toppings. Hard shells were soggy. Sister had«fajita platter» which was same old tacos served to my husband with a side of refried beans. I ordered the baked potato that was so hard my fork literally broke.

This restaurant is lucky to get 3 stars. Food is sorta ok if you know what to order. Their chicken is their strength but the rest is «Meh». Bean burritos are good too. Their taco shells are too flakey and vegetables iffy. Their quality control is not as tight as Taco Bell so taste and freshness will vary. Don’t expect a clean restaurant. Most furniture is ages old throughout the franchise and has seen better days. Would not consider it reasonably priced especially for a Mexican restaurant.

GREAT fast food place. So good that I, the Unilocalish food addict, went there 3 times in 2 days(and am hoping to get back there at some point… Don’t judge. :)). I’ve had the same meal 3 times now: the Taco dinner with chicken(3 hard shell tacos) which comes with a side of rice, beans, chips, and a drink… All for just $ 7.99. Service was always quick and friendly… What more can you ask for? I’m definitely a big fan. Check it out sometime when you’re in the area. You won’t regret it.

I think I ate 3 of their tostada salads during my short trip — cheap, and the chicken was tasty. You can also get it with turkey or beef. Really tasty — better than Taco Bell. In PR, everyone seems to use French Dressing — the orange kind — the way some people eat Ranch here — on everything. Its a safe bet in fast food, and not too expensive for a meal. Also — the most vegetables you’ll see on you trip are in this flaky, non-greasy shell. I’m serious!
