The Resturant located in a nasty place but it tastes VERY DELICIOUS. The staff is friendly and service is fast.
Generally it is one of the best Iranian Resturant in Europe.

It used to be quite poor quality (i got a cup of hot water and a lipton tea bag when i ordered tea… that’s as scandalous as instant coffee in an italian restaurant).
But they seemed to have changed management and its gotten a lot better.
Order the skewered meat dishes, since that’s their specialty. The neighborhood is ok. and although it seems seedy, it is more safe than elsewhere, since there are always more ppl on the street here than elsewhere in geneva.

I don’t know other Iranian restaurants or never tried Iranian food before this restaurant, so hard to compare. The service is excellent and the food was good. The price was OK for Geneva standards. It’s just always very empty and it’s not a lively restaurant, you feel kind of alone without other customers, maybe it’s good to go with a group who would like to try something new.

Good Iranian restaurant, the place is welcoming and probably the atmosphere is more of a small local gathering centre rather than a professional restaurant, nonetheless really good service. We tried a couple of kebab dishes: recommend is lamb in particular. Also the cost is reasonable for Geneva.

Nice food, no flair. Gold standard is one of the few Iranian restaurants in Geneva. Centrally located in Paquis near Cornavin, it offers a wide range of dishes. The quality is rather good and the food tastes authentic. Prices are normal for Geneva (mains 25 – 40 chf). The only downside really is the atmosphere, which suffers from bad lighting, an uncomfortable arrangement of the tables, and a big TV screen showing Iranian pop music.

I decided to take my mother to this new iranian restaurant opened close to the train station. Unfortunately, this restaurant has poor business ethics. Website + Opening Hours on the window says the restaurant is open until 4pm. When we showed up at 3pm, the restaurant was closed with no notes on the door like the owner would be back in 5min. We waited 5 – 10 min but nobody showed up. It is kinda frustrating when you come to this part of town specially for this restaurant.
Also, the location of this restaurant isn’t the best during the evening. You want to make sure to have someone with you if you decide to go have dinner.
