Excellent Un accueil de qualité dans un cadre très sympa. Nous avons pris des mezzes chauds et froids et c était un delice. Les produits de base était frais et de bonne qualité, chose de plus en plus rare. J y retournerai avec grand plaisir. et très bientôt

Delicious Lebanese food in Paquis! The service is friendly, the food is absolutely delicious, the menu and assortment is huge, and the atmosphere is quite nice. We did their prix fix menu which was a great deal at 30CHF per person but ended up being WAY too much food. I will definitely be back here in the future!

I really wanted to like this place but a few things put a bad taste in my mouth. Why the heck is a lamb shawarma 30 francs? The service was lacking and wouldnt really come around and we had to hunt them down, which is another point off for me. We had the beiroti hummus, which was good. Had the lamb shawarma and chicken kebab, which were both delicious. If given a choice, I would not go again because of the crazy prices, the dodgy neighborhood, and the sevice…

TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICEWHENMAKINGRESERVATIONS! I did not eat here, but tried to make a reservation for tonight and tomorrow and was told that they are full. As the voucher I had expired tomorrow, I tried to make a reservation for Monday, and asked very nicely if I could use the voucher on Monday, as they were full tonight and tomorrow night. The person I spoke to started off very nice, but as soon as I mentioned the voucher, he got very angry and yelled at me telling me that he is full of people with vouchers and does not have any room even for«his own clients.» I understand that there is an expiration date on these vouchers, and would be okay if he had simply said no, but to be getting so angry is uncalled for. We could have become«his own clients» had he let us use the voucher, but after his little outburst, I will NEVER go there!

Born and raised in Geneva, lived in Lebanon during college years before returning to Switzerland later on, having been raised by a Chef and a Lebanese mother discovering Chez Sami in Geneva was a marvelous surprise. The location and atmosphere are great, rather for business at lunchtime, and quality time dinners with friends or with someone special at night, the place is tastefully decorated. The modernity of the place is reflected in the food’s presentation, which comes to revamp this refined cuisine and render the perfectly authentic taste of Lebanese food more dynamic and sexy. The modern feel of both the dishes and the place are consistant with the rigour and efficiency of service. Together with presentation, those are skillfully used to introduce dishes which are rarely seen on the menus of Lebanese restaurants in Europe such as Fatteh and Kibbeh bil Sayniyyeh. Chez Sami is definitely on my list of good surprises Geneva has to offer, and finally provides a place where one is not ashamed to bring people visiting from home. Hoping the Swiss’s poor palates won’t bring the level down, A food enthousiast.

Fabulous, 6 star food… I can eat there every day. What can I say about this place that is tucked away in the Paquis. If you love Lebanese food this place is it. I haven’t had it so good outside of Lebanon or my mother’s kitchen. We ate a few plates of appetizers, mezza… hummous, baba ghanouge, fattoush, olives, spicy sausage(I forget the name! kind of like a sujuck sausage if you know them), bread, then the sambousek(one with meat and one with cheese), kibbeh, falafel… main course was a mixed grill of shish kebab(lamb), chicken kebab and the kefta as well. I cant tell you how mouth watering the kebabs were, the chicken is perfectly seasoned most juicy chicken I have eaten in Switzerland. You will LOVE it. The meat and cheese pies have the perfect flakiness to the crust and the kibbe balls were seasoned just right with the perfect ratio of filling to outside portion of kibbeh and fried to perfection. The fattoush was delicious and it has a spin on it different from tradition in the lettuce leaves they use. Its Lebanese food at its finest. Oh, and our waiter was Sami himself who is so nice and he spoke with us in English, Arabic and of course French so everyone can come and enjoy. They have outside tables as well, but the inside is nice with very high ceilings. If you want to try Lebanese food or you already love it, this is the place to go. There were four of us for lunch and we got a lot of food, too much, we had a huge doggie bag… our bill was about 180CHF… oh, we also had watermelon and baklava for dessert. Baklava was very good, however, mine is better but I ate two pieces regardless!!! They have very reasonably priced dishes we were celebrating and ordered a feast.
