Already dreaming of my next meal here. My dining experience at l’Entrecôte was one of the most unique, and one of the best. The service was both professional and friendly. I love that there are no menus! You just tell them how you want your steak. You’re started off with a delicious simple salad, and then the main attraction: steak and frites! The steak is so flavorful(thanks to the unbelievable sauce) and tender– it melts in your mouth. The fries are thin, crispy, and perfectly salted. And the best part– a second serving! If you still have room, or even if you don’t(like me), you can order the profiteroles(with dark chocolate) for dessert!

Being my first l’Entrecôte experience, I thoroughly enjoyed this oily delight. I fully dedicate this version of Butta Love( ) to this dish. First off, the service is awesome. The food menu is so easy. THEREISNONE. All things beautiful in the world to me are simple and minimal, and Le Relais de l’Entrecôte is a fine example. You just answer the waitress’ simple question: «How do you like your steak?»… and then your excursion to tastebud heaven begins. You start with bread(no butter, but don’t complain. You will get plenty later) and a simple salad with a light, tangy dressing that seems to be mustard based(? not sure). Soon enough, your steak comes… drenched in a heaven-sent sauce, which I later found out is based with chicken liver and butter. It was so good. SOGOOD. It’s plated with pommes frites, which taste and look like McDonald’s french fries(AKA the best fries in the world. The pommes frites are a FRENCH restaurant’s fries. Therefore, I believe McDonald’s is doing us right and serving us proper FRENCH fries haha ok not the point). The steak is amazing, but when the fries soak up the sauce, you reach a new level of amazing. The waitresses will constantly fill up your plate with fries, but when you finish your plate of steak, you will be blessed with seconds and another round of steak! But this will be your last. I unfortunately misunderstood and thought this was an AYCE restaurant… So, I ate my two plates hastily. I think I could have eaten at least another plate to fill me up, but maybe I am too American feeling entitled to big portions… Anyway, be warned that this place can get packed. People were waiting outside before it opened, and while walking in, I saw the face of one waitress cringe a bit as the crowd rolled in. I think this place is worth the wait. The only reason I docked it off a star is that it’s pricey. I’m sure restaurants nearby can’t compete, but while walking around Genéve, I saw other restaurants offering entrecôte for 30 francs only compared to 42 francs here.

Ahhh. I really don’t know what to say other than the food was most delicious. After a long day at a conference and eating crackers and coffee. Their one menu dish steak with fries was probably the best thing to get me back. Yes they only have one entrée, and you only need to tell yel how to cook your steak and if you want desert or not. Simple. Delicious. A special place to come! Also your entrée comes with seconds.

I ate alone at this sweet little restaurant. It was my first and only day in Geneva, and I loved the classic French feel of the place. Waiters bustle around depositing fries and wine and delicious chocolaty things on patrons’ tables. It was charming. There are only three questions that matter at this restaurant:(1) What will you drink?(2) How do you want your steak cooked? and(3) Will you have dessert? The correct answers are:(1) The red house wine,(2) Rare, and(3) Yes, the profiteroles. There is no menu for dinner. They only serve steak. You tell them how to cook it, and they serve it with their delectable fries and their famous herb butter sauce. It is the very best steak I have ever eaten. It is a pleasant surprise when they bring out a second serving of the steak and fries(it’s all part of the one meal). They do have a dessert menu, but you should only order the profiteroles. They are divine. Bön appetit!

We were eating there for lunch, as a group of three people. Ambience: French classic design Salad: nothing special, but it comes free with the entrecôte Fries: one of the best I’ve eaten lately! Just delicious! Entrecôte: Very good quality and cooked as you wish(mine was à-point). The sauce was very good but I expected a little bit more. Red wine: a light uncomplicated wine, but unfortunately a little bit too warm Service: Very well organised, you dont have to wait longtime for your table or your food even if there are a lot of customers. Some waiters look very stressed but theyre doing a lot of work with good quality so it doesnt matter. Our waiter was very kind and friendly. Overall a very good restaurant, which everybody should experience when you visit geneva. But dont be shocked if theres a line in front.

La belle entrecôte ! Né comptez pas manger autre chose qu’une entrecôte, il y a pas. Entrée: salade verte et noix. Plat: entrecôte sauce café de Paris et frites. Seuls choix: la cuisson de la viande, les boissons et le dessert ! Ce n’est pas un mal, ils ont un plat, mais qu’est-ce qu’ils le font bien ! Succulent… ! Le seul petit hic: on a l’impression d’être vite expédiés, ils veulent le plus de monde possible, pour un meileur chiffre d’affaire, et l’accueil pas terrible, mais ça vaut tout-de-même la peine.

Par ici la bonne viande ! Moi j’aime la bonne viande et elle est bonne. Le concept est sympa, juste besoin de dire si on veut son entrecôte saignante, bleue ou bien cuite. Frites bonnes. Super avant un cinoche ! Le seul hic, on né peut pas réserver.

Une entrecôte sinon rien ! Commande possible jusqu’à 23h00 mais alors ce sera un service express ! Un seul plat au choix: une délicieuse entrecôte servie(en deux fois) avec des frites et une sauce verte mémorable. Les prix sont chers mais la qualité de la viande est remarquable.
