Cave Valaisanne / Chez Crettol

Incredible fondue, impeccable service, a must-​eat place in Zurich. Couldn’t have had a better time and a more wonderful experience. Might have been the best salad I’ve ever eaten, and the fondue (with champagne) was just delightful. I’m nostalgic just thinking about it now. Amazing!

You can nether go wrong with this restaurant! Just one experience to share: let the owner choose a vine for you… The place, the food, the service and atmosphere are awesome!

That’s the definition of what I would call Heaven On Earth!
Already when you walk in there you can feel the atmosphere as well as the classy lifestyle the family is presenting the restaurant.
Especially I recommend the all you can eat raclette & tomato fondue.
It is expensive but worth every penny!
All in all, one of the best restaurants the region Zurich has to offer

Die cave valaisanne bei den Crettols ist ein Kleinod im Herzen von Küsnacht. DER ort für authentisches Raclette! Wie der Modus funktioniert, haben die Schwestern und Brüder von Qype genug erklärt.
Das Raclette ist wirklich ein Smart buy. Zu zweit nimmt man am besten 1x Salat (geile Sauce!) und 1x Trockenfleisch zur Vorspeise. Und dann soviele Teller mit ganz frischem Abstrich vom Käselaib wie man essen kann.
Dazu empfehle ich einen Humagne blanche, der kommt perfekt gekühlt.
Vorsicht, unbedingt reservieren, sogar an einem Mittwoch Abend ist der Schuppen voll (und sehr laut).

Das Wallis mitten an der Goldküste. Das Cave Valaisanne ist eine typische Beiz und ein Eldorado für alle, die wirklich gutes Fondue lieben. Noch besser als das Fondue ist das Raclette, das hier serviert wird.
Raclette im Cave Valaisanne ist so, wie es früher einmal war. Der Käselaib wird vor das Cheminee gelegt, dann wird der geschmolzene Käse abgeschabt und auf vorgewärmten Tellern serviert. Das Ganze natürlich aus bestem Käse und a discretion. Dazu Pellkartoffeln, Gurken und Silberzwiebeln und als Vorspeise eine grosse Portion Schinken, Bündner und andere Fleisspezialitäten. Noch einen guten Wein und der Abend ist perfekt.
Ich empfehle Euch dringend zu reservieren. Die Plätze im kleinen Restaurant sind begehrt, schnell weg und das nicht nur, weil es hier urig und sehr freundlich zu– und hergeht. Schick und Etepetete müssen draussen bleiben. Hoffentlich noch lange.
