Hoa Sen

The Vietnamese restaurant is located not so far from Lausanne downtown. It’s a small family restaurant. The decoration is simple and remember an Vietnam. We ordered at lunch time Bo Bun (in piece sliced spring rolls) with vegetables and rice noodles served with chili sauce, vegetarian steamed Vietnamese crepes with salad and grilled wild gilthead sea bream fish accompanied with rice. The food was fresh and Delicious. Only the steamed Vietnamese crepes with salad was very strange because we expected with vegetable filled dough pockets but instead we got very large steamed rice noodles with salad! The service (the son) was very friendly. The ambiance was quiet because at that time only a few people were eating there. The prices are on average.
