Restaurant Einhorn

I normally don’t give bad reviews but this needs to be said… We sat down at 12pm and ordered pizzas, at 12:15 a larger party sat down behind us and ordered food… At 12:30 the large party got their food and we were still waiting for our PIZZA! Our waitress did not seem concerned and we had to ask the manager where our pizza was and the response was «it’s in the oven now». Did you forget about us because the party of 7 got their food before our party of 4… I’m giving it two stars because the pizza wasn’t awful.

Service was fast and friendly and the facility is nicely decorated, warm, and inviting. They gave me an English menu — nice, but I didn’t expect or need it.
I got a ½ liter of tap water to drink (4 sf) and a glass of wine to drink. The water was almost as expensive as the wine but it was good and refills are free. I ordered a spicy sausage pizza that was delicious and just the right size to fill me up.
I haven’t had other pizza in Switzerland to compare this to for locals, but I thought it was delicious and I wouldn’t be sad to come here again.
Total bill: 27 francs.

Great Italian food and the desserts especially, were just brilliant!
There were three of us and mum got a veg pizza, which was pretty decent (she wished the toppings were more US style), and the green salad to share with me which had an amazing balsamic dressing. I ordered a trio of pasta, which came in the colours of the Italian flag — top taste was fettuccine pasta with pesto, second ranked was fusilli in tomato sauce and then the gnocchi in Alfredo cream sauce. Then unfortunately, we come to the only sour note to an otherwise wonderful lunch, when my brother got the salmon risotto. He really disliked this as it was too cheesy for him, but also the risotto was undercooked. I tasted it too and agreed with him and it’s the only reason why it’s a 4 star review instead of 5.
For dessert, mum and I split the tasting trio and my brother got the tiramisu. This was excellent. It was little bites of perfection and just right with the level of sweetness. I plan to go back again before leaving Lucerne.

Good food, nice and quick service, not too expensive. I will come again. :)

Mitten in der Fußgängerzone gelegen ist diese wunderbare Pizzeria in Luzern. Draußen gibt es einige Tische, die allerdings bei solch herrlichem Wetter schon besetzt waren. Nichts desto trotz ist es im Innenraum auch sehr nett. Nicht super chic, aber dennoch italienisch hübsch. Wir fanden einen netten kleinen Tisch in einer Ecke und bestellten sogleich unsere Getränke. Der Kellner, ein echter Italiener, brachte uns die Karte und wir entschieden uns alle für eine Pizza.
Einfach nur fantastisch. Die Pizza war genau so, wie ich Pizza am allerliebsten mag. Nämlich schön knusprig dünn und nicht amerikanisiert und matschig dick. Der Belag war reichlich und auch sehr lecker, besonders die Oliven haben mir hier geschmeckt. Eine Seltenheit, wie ich schon des Öfteren feststellen musste.
Würde ich in Luzern wohnen, wäre dies wahrscheinlich mein Lieblings Italiener. Preislich war es auch absolut in Ordnung. Für 4 Personen, mit Wein, haben wir rund 100 CHF bezahlt (also ca. 65 Euro).
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall mal wieder!
