Bar im Hotel Schweizerhof

Nach der sanften Renovation bis Ende August 2011 darf man gespannt sein auf die Neueröffnung der Schweizerhof Bar.
Die traditionelle sehr gemütliche Bar mit Zugang von der Lintheschergasse her überzeugt mit der stilvollen Ambiance für Geschäftstreffen, Drinks mit Kollegen, Aperos oder Ausklang nach dem Abendessen.
Über Mittag wird ein leichtes Menue serviert und wer gerne ein was kleines Essen möchte hat eine Auswahl an sehr leckeren Snacks.
Ich treffe mich gerne mit Kunden oder Kollegen in dieser Bar, die alles bietet was mir wichtig ist: Feine Getränke für jede Stimmung und bei Bedarf ein Häppchen das den Gaumen verwöhnt und den Magen versöhnt.

Even though the rooms are tiny, the Schweizerhof makes up by providing a level of service otherwise only available in the grandest properties.
Upon arrival a porter takes your luggage, receptionists are friendly and all willing to go the extra mile, the rooms offer all amenities and at night a trolley comes round with everything your heart may desire from toothbrushes to chocolate bars — for free! The breakfast includes champagne and is one of the most generous I have seen in a hotel of this class.
I stayed in the hotel during the icelandic volcanoe incident, unable to leave Switzerland by plane. The concierge sent the porter to queue for several hours in the 500 yard queue at the central station and get me a ticket, while I took a leisurely walk around town.
That is what I call real service!

Zurich’s poshest hotel, right next to the main train station and very handy for the centre of town.
Service is very courteous and genteel — more old world than businesslike — and everything else is as you would expect for a hotel of this calibre and reputation.

Mein Stammhotel in Zürich. Von der Lage nicht zu toppen, die Zimmer klassisch aber noch nicht alt. Der Service immer erste Klasse! Ohne Einschränkungen zu empfehlen!
