One of the places to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee! Excellent coffee is a rare find in Switzerland, so places like Bovelli make me even more happy. cappuccino with organic soy milk for chef 5.50 — not too bad I’d say! plenty of magazines to read and free wifi. Place is pretty big and can get busy. The interior is not exactly my taste, but the coffee is!

Super cappuccino, toll ausstaffierte Bar, nettes Personal und leckere Muffins. Liegt leider etwas im Schatten, aber ansonsten ein super Boxenstop für den Kaffee zwischendurch.

Coole Location im Zentrum von Zürich. Der ideale Ort um sich zwischen zwei Runden Combat Shopping mit einem Kaffee zu stärken, oder am Abend mit einem gespritzten Weissen in die Seile zu hängen. Der Cappuccino hat jetzt endlich aufgeholt, war letztes Mal noch nicht ganz top, aber jetzt ist er fast Spitzenklasse. Nur der Milchschaum ist noch nicht so ganz cremig wie er sein sollte, damit ist die Vermischung von Kaffee– und Milcharoma nicht so intensiv, aber er ist so nahe dran dass ich ihn jetzt doch auf meine Top-Liste nehme.

Owned by the folk who brought you Grande on Limmatquai and Dante, over in Kreis 4, Bovelli, centrally located, is a pretty slick place in which to have a coffee. Bovelli is a lounge that makes both high-end cocktails(think: Simplon) and tasty espresso drinks(think: Benzin & Koffein). To be frank, they had me at Sipsmith’s Sloe gin. It must be said that the young woman who waited on me was quite friendly and understands how one builds clientele. However, it must also be said that I’ve experienced there a bit of pomposity the likes of which I’ve seen back home.(Ritual on Valencia in SF, anyone?) Just because you work/own a bar, doesn’t mean that my opinion on spirits/cocktails is shite. And, if you insist that I don’t know squat, then at least have the courtesy of disguising it. I was pouring drinks when you were still in primary school, sonny. Bovelli is such a large, open space that the tables feel a bit sparse, leaving the floor-space ample. One almost expects a disco ball to come out and dancing to be had in the late evening hours. As Bovelli is still relatively new, well, who knows?
