Amazing beer selection from around the world. It’s the only place I’ve found so far to get St. Bernardus Abt. 12 and/or PBR in Switzerland. The bartenders are very friendly and make good recommendations. And the vibe is nice and relaxed with a healthy mix of locals and expats. It’s definitely no expat ghetto, but also you won’t feel unwelcome if you speak no German. The food menu is a bit limited… but if you need variety, there’s a kebab and pizza joint right around the corner at Limmatplatz.

Decent new neighborhood bar/hangout. Went there for an Unilocal gathering recently on a Friday evening. The bar was pretty packed as the space is not very big. We had the seating section on the platform as it was a group of 10+ people. The«chairs» along side the wall was made of empty wooden crates flipped upside down with a cushion on top, which was pretty interesting and different. The music was loud but we could still talk to each other without screaming, definitely a plus. I went up to the bar to get a beer. Didn’t take long for the bartender to come over and take my order. I ordered a Chimay. He acknowledged and walked away. A couple minutes later he returned to my spot and asked what does it look like(LOL). My friend pointed out the Chimay bottle on the display shelf above the bar and the bar tender thanked him and returned a minute later with the beer. Thought that was funny. He must have been new too. Would go back from time to time. Their beer selections seemed quite extensive. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to find ;)

Eldorado is not big but good size for group gathering or hanging out with friends. You come here for beer but they do have other drinks like cocktails(around 14 – 15CHF). No need to dress up. Actually just come in with a shirt and jean, you would fit in better here. I would definitely come back to try all the beer on their menu and just hang out sometime. PS: No food available(free peanuts on the table) so grab something if you haven’t eaten anything. Doner shop is just around the corner :)
