You guys-the location is everything. On the lake, plenty of space, both restaurant, rooftop bar and terrace. Great cocktails and affordable. Menu is mediterrean with a lot of italian. Yet they do seasonal food-e.g. asparagus is in season, expect more of that. Service is attentive and approachable. Great!!!

Location is great. Food is good. Staff is friendly. However as a visitor to Zurich, make sure to watch cash transaction. Server quickly grabbed 100 francs and placed in wallet and then argued I only have 50 francs. I know not possible because of recent ATM visit. All non-speaking Swiss German persons beware.

Loungy place at the lakeside. Wonderful view to city and lake. Good for thinking about things to discover or resume the experiences. Most suprises probably there, where you expect them least. Chilliy music, relaxed crowd, mostly having an apero. Like the Götti Cider.

I haven’t been here in years, back since it was still called Acqua, and kind of remembered this place as elegant, but a bit run-down inside. This time I stayed outside because the weather was lovely. Unfortunately, the upper deck was completely packed at about 7 pm on Thursday. It had amazing views of Lake Zurich, but I wanted to sit, so I went to the seating area outside the restaurant that was only for people ordering off the menu. The waitress came immediately when we sat down, but I wasn’t ready to order yet. Unfortunately, then they got so busy that it took forever for her to come back to out table. Thankfully we weren’t in a hurry to go anywhere. I got a lovely bread salad with ripe cherry tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, and artichokes. It was very tasty and went well with my Apfelshörle. I liked the cheery nautical theme and noticed that our waitresses had even painted their fingernails blue with white anchors.

Came here after it was renamed Quai 61 from the old Aqua. Originally, I was convinced this place deserved a «meh» 3-star rating for its service after they turned down my offer to get jam with my toast. Menu was so so for brunch but really, you come here for the view with the acknowledgement this will mean paying higher prices. However, as my time grew longer there, I concluded that the service was overall decent; decent enough for me to give it 4 stars. Restaurant is ground level, bar is upstairs — always good for a catch up with friends over a beautiful Lake Zurich view(with higher than average prices of course). Along with some drinks and eggs(sunny side up), I ordered a very simple 3 slices of toast with jam — to which they said I could not order jam separately but had to order an entire bread basket with croissant in order to receive jam. There was a bit of a stress from the server’s side, but I just waved it off nonchalantly. If the restaurant insists of serving toast with nothing available — then it just shows just how littlle they care the food is eaten. I looked rather disappointed at that moment, but decided to wait to see how it all pans out. The patience was well worth it. Surprisingly, they served jam(on a spoon) anyway! So I laughed in wonder, why make the commotion with me on ordering a bread basket in order to get jam? Is earning 4 more francs from me really that important? I thanked her in good manners and slowly ate my light brunch. The prices are average but the servings are slimmed down, including their cappuccino(I had to order 2!). However, you cannot beat having a nice view to Lake Zurich — so bring some patience, smiles, appreciation to nice views and of course money to Quai 61!
